We had let my Honda TRX 500FM sit all winter without starting and the carburetor plugged up. My husband took the carburetor off and cleaned it he though and would start and run but not idle. He had messed with it off and on for several months as we also have side-by sides and the only time I used it was to spray fence rows--which I dearly missed this summer and had to walk and spray them.. But then I order this carburetor and he says it starts and runs great as soon as he got it on, and much cheaper than a repair shop. He did say it had a lot of connections and he used to be a Honda mechanic so someone not familiar with these might need some help installing but the carburetor works great.

Got the carb in looked great. Started going through the box and the side cover for the throttle cam was gone. The filter it came with was junk and fell apart. Installed it even thought it was missing that cover and my atv wouldn’t idle right it would skip tried adjusting air fuel screw nothing would help. Pure junk. Save your money and buy oem.

Carburetor works great! Perfect fit! I pumped the primer plunger until it felt like it was pumping gas then hit the starter button and it started instantly! It comes with 2 extra jets in case you need a bigger or smaller jet.

I ordered this carburetor. Installed it on Honda Foreman 500. Was happy for the first couple of days because it started and ran. Has a flat spot in acceleration in which it dies if you don't open the throttle all the way up. I figured it was a matter of tuning. So I ordered a specialty adjusting wrench. When it came via Amazon, I attempted to tune the carburetor. There is no adjustment to the external carburetor that eliminates the flat spot in acceleration. The whole point in ordering the carburetor was so that I didn't have to open it up and make internal adjustments. Therefore, this carburetor is an almost complete failure. At this point, after waiting for the adjustment wrench to arrive, I am beyond my time limit to return the carburetor. Good luck to this company. I would have been better off spending $250 at Honda and having a brand new carburetor. My advice... DON'T BUY THIS.

AFTER INSTALATION I HAD "____NO___" SPARK SO THE ENGINE WOULD NOT RUN, 3 DAYS LATER FOUND THE THROTTLE SENSOR WAS THE WRONG ONE FOR MY HONDA CAUSING THE ECM TO NOT FUNCTION. I REPLACED THE SENSOR WITH ONE FROM MY OLD CARB AND STARTED MY FORMAN. THE RESTANCE OF THE NEW SENSOR WAS TOTALY INCORRECT. BUYER BE WARE PISS POOR QUALITY CONTROL AND OBVIOUESL NO FINAL TESTING. I WAS VERY CLOSE TO BUYING A NEW ECM MODULE THROWING AWAY $250 FOR THERE MISTAKE.
