I am far from mechanically inclined. I had my 4 wheeler fixed by an experienced mechanic and it ran for an hour before having issues again. Gas got in the oil and would start with difficulty and then stop. Not sure why mechanic didn’t replace the carb to begin with. I watched a YouTube video and simply took off plastic parts to get to the carb. I paid attention in taking the old one out and put the new one in. It was a 98 400cc Honda foreman. I had to rig up one electrical connection due to age but in 2-3 hours had it on. All I had to do was adjust the idle knob. I bought this two years ago and it’s never run so well. I was a skeptic at this price point for sure and have rebuilt a lot of carbs and I really just need a carb body for my 98 foreman 400. I received the carb and to my surprise it was the real deal. I pulled it apart to check the floats and it does have an to me a better adjustable float over the stock unit and check the idle fuel adjustment an all was in spec. Installed and holy heck it was a direct copy and works perfect. Read the plug after running and it is perfect. Color me surprised. Side note with adjustable floats can and most of the time get bounced out of spec in shipping so if your carb drips gas out the over flow after install check the float height. ... show more

I have a 1996 Honda foreman 400, my stock carb started leaking fuel, even after cleaning no luck. I was skeptical as most are but this carburetor works perfect on mine! I did not have to change jets or modify anything! Popped it on and took off no issues! 10/10 recommended from me!

Installed on a 2000 foreman 400. Ran good without any adjustments other than idle screw. Great valve not work buying OEM carburetors which can be more than $200.

Very easy to install and has been working great ever since. I replaced the OEM carb from my ATV. The old one I removed will be rebuilt and stored as a replacement if ever needed again.
