A little disappointed with lack of a piece of paper saying what does which but it was easy enough to figure out. 1 way valve for the bowl overflow works and seems decently secured. Throttle blade has a good spring and a reasonable plastic cover for it. Measurements are true per above. I installed this on a Honda 250CM as it was the same ID and OD dimensions. I can't figure out how to tune this, but without trying anything the bike runs. There is NO CHOKE on this, that plunger is a primer and will keep pumping gas until it comes out the air filter. I'm a novice with carbs so this may be normal but its a little dangers to not know about it. 5/8" fuel nipple if you're also replacing fuel line. ... show more

Direct plug in!!! Had to adjust throttle and that was it. VERY impressed, especially at this price. Have about 50 hours on this carb and still good. Below freezing had to use the choke for about 15 seconds.

    • Less than one hour labor for a mechanic
I am far from mechanically inclined. I had my 4 wheeler fixed by an experienced mechanic and it ran for an hour before having issues again. Gas got in the oil and would start with difficulty and then stop. Not sure why mechanic didn’t replace the carb to begin with. I watched a YouTube video and simply took off plastic parts to get to the carb. I paid attention in taking the old one out and put the new one in. It was a 98 400cc Honda foreman. I had to rig up one electrical connection due to age but in 2-3 hours had it on. All I had to do was adjust the idle knob. I bought this two years ago and it’s never run so well. Acceleration was ramped up tremendously and the power of 400cc is there now. I can’t believe they sell it for this price. ... show more
