  • 👍👍 extremely fair price👍👍
These tools are essential for HVAC technicians, especially those new to the field. I purchased this tool for a new hire who had limited resources. I’m a ACR foreman and wanted to help a mechanic. The pricing is reasonable, and I appreciate a company that maintains fair prices and does not exploit its customers especially in the time that we’re living in where everything has double and triple the price. Five stars for the company Five stars for the product Five stars for the price I been in the field for over 40 yrs. 👍👍 These tool may not be the best in the market but it will work. Good for beginners and homeowners do it yourself type of Guys and gals. If you get serious and continue to learn the trade, then you buy better tools. Yes, I do recommend this for every one who wants to get into the field of HVAC. Thank you. ... show more

  • Worked for me
I'm a DIY guy who was trying to service his air conditioner cause I'm broke, so to attach a vacuum to my system, I needed this, and it worked just fine for my purposes! Here's what you do - you can take off the 5/16th thing to get to the 1/4 if you need to, though I didn't. You stick it in the thingy, spin the ball valve lever to seal it, and unscrew the moving end part. You pull it out, then push it in to catch on the Schrader valve. It took me a couple tries. But you unscrew it, close the ball valve lever thing, and then you are free to attach your vacuum hoses. Overall, it was a very simple thing to use, and I appreciated the spare parts - I didn't need them, but having spares always helps a ton. It fit just fine, and seemed to work very well - I expect my issues with needing multiple attempts were more due to me being new than anything else. No leakage or anything. It seems fairly durable. It's not doing much heavy duty work here, just unscrewing something, so it doesn't need to be super well built, but I think this would work for a real tech as well, not just a DIYer. At this price, with the extras and everything, I think this is a great value for money! ... show more

  • An ingenious tool that saves a lot of time. An ingenious tool that saves a lot of time.
This tool can save a lot of pain and cost, especially for an older condensing unit that doesn’t use modern refrigerant, because phased out refrigerant is very expensive. Leaking service valve cores are common, and this tool can be utilized to replace a Schrader valve core and stop the leak. The functionality is very simple, and it can swap a valve core without needing a reclaimer. This kit comes with everything you need to fix it including the valve cores. I had no issues getting it to fit on the service port, and I didn’t notice any significant leakage when swapping cores. The durability also seems good, and the tool has held up fine after a few jobs. For $19.99, this set is an excellent value, and it is worth having on hand. ... show more

  • Didn't work for me
No instructions and tried for more than an hour to get it to remove the core. No luck. Could've vacuumed with the core in place in less time. Would unscrew the core but not extract it, at first even the remover wouldn't slide back, then finally it would but wouldn't bring the core with it

  • Useful Tool for HVAC Service Useful Tool for HVAC Service
This valve core removal tool works well for servicing refrigeration and AC systems. It allows you to remove or install valve cores without losing refrigerant, which makes repairs much easier and saves time during service work. The tool feels solid and well made. The valves operate smoothly and the connections seal well without leaking. It’s compatible with 1/4” and 5/16” SAE ports, so it works with common systems like R410A, R22, and R134a, which makes it a versatile addition to an HVAC toolkit. The included service wrench is also handy for quick adjustments during maintenance. Everything feels durable enough for regular field use and not like cheap tools that wear out quickly. Overall, a practical and reliable tool kit for HVAC technicians or anyone working on refrigeration systems. Good quality and good value for the money. ... show more

  • Nice kit. A must have tool for any HVAC tech
This is a great kit if you are in the HVAC service trade. Swap out a leaky core without discharging the system. You screw it on, then remove the core by twisting the end and drawing it back. Once drawn back you close the valve in the middle and remove the top, take out your old valve, and put the new one in the tool. After that, you open the valve and slide the new valve into position and screw it in. The wrenches are good quality and you should have all the sizes you need to operate the service ports ... show more

  • High-quality tool that saved me a full system recharge!
I bought this CALPOSE tool set to fix a small leak, and it worked perfectly. The build quality is impressive—the solid brass construction feels heavy-duty and professional, not like a cheap knock-off. The best part was the ease of use. Thanks to the built-in ball valve, I was able to swap out my leaking valve core without losing my refrigerant charge or having to drain and vacuum the entire system. It turned a potentially expensive service call into a quick 5-minute DIY fix. Having the extra valve cores and the service wrench included in the box is a great bonus. Highly recommended for anyone looking to maintain their AC system efficiently! ... show more
