We moved into a house with an existing 1/2” NG quick connect. Purchased a Weber Slate grill which comes with a 10’ hose with 3/8” diameter and quick connect. I needed a longer hose and also preferred to use the existing 1/2” connector and not swap it out. This hose worked perfectly and included the 1/2” to 3/8” flare adapter to step down to the connection on the grill without the need to buy a separate fitting. Well done. Ten minutes and done, no leaks. Pro tip- do NOT use Teflon tape on flare connectors as you will have a leak.

There's another review here saying this product won't work with the Firman 7850 Generator sold at Costco because the 3/8" flare to 1/2" flare connector leaked at the point of connection with the generator. I decided to try for myself because the price was so good, and the kit came with all the connectors I needed. When I first hooked up the natural gas connection finger-tight to the generator, the 3/8" to 1/2" flare coupler DID leak a tiny bit (as verified with the soapy water test). Once I tightened lightly with a wrench, there was zero leak. So definitely test your connections for leaks if you're going to use this. But for the price, this is a great option for the Firman.

This comes with everything you should need once gas line is fit to the coupler. I’m using it on a tri fuel generator. It works like a charm. P.S. Don’t forget to bleed the line before starting generator/grill. Would highly recommend especially for price.
