The exhaust/light cover was probably original to the house. Had gotten brittle with time. The house is 30 years old and I’ve resided here for 15. It had fallen off twice and broken.     • Does not Fit All Fan Lights !
This light should have been sent back . It looked like it would have fit my Broan Exhaust Fan . I had no choice as I did not time to find another as I had sold my house and needed it replaced right away. I had to file the 2 corners to make it fit . Took me hours on something that should have taken a few minutes to replace . The corners are too square. If they were just slightly rounded on the corners it would fit just fine. The Broan light / fan combo is likely the most common exhaust fan in most homes . THIS DOES NOT FIT ! I do not recommend this . By genuine Broan light covers , spend a little more and make things easier . Do not recommend this product. ... show more
