We have a 2014 Sunseeker 2300 which had the original fabric on it. The old fabric was flaking apart, had tears starting and stunk! Time for a new fabric. We needed the 16” fabric, which we ordered. I ended up needing to carefully trim 6 inches off the right-had side however. I don’t know if this was due to this one being too long/wide, or if Forest River did a modification to our awning to make a better fit. Either way, I got it done and installed this (with help). The most difficult part for the installation was (in our case) the removal of the old fabric. What I like: + Light enough to install on top of a tall ladder with no rips + Mostly white in color with a a small (very small) gray fade + Folds from packing mostly came out with time in the sun + Survived 2” of wet snow load this last weekend without tearing What I don’t like: - No side ripstop seam like original - Very heavy duty - be VERY careful when running this into the track All-in-all, I am happy with the awning fabric. This will not last the 10 years the last one did, but if I can get half of that, I will be satisfied.

The fabric Size is NOT what they state on the product page! We spent a lot of time, trying to insure the width would fit, as well as give maximum allowable coverage. The product description clearly stated the the fabric was 19'2 (for a 20' awning) the fabric we received was 18'9. So our choices were go through the hassle of sending it back, or be 5" short. Both options sucked.

The quality of this awning is very high. The vinyl fabric is heavy duty and appears it will last. It should be noted, the color is very white - like pure, bright snow-white. I would have preferred if it was a slightly less stark of a white. Some will love the color, but few RVs use this bright of a white in the color of the body or of their accessories, so it is noticeably whiter than the RV. Intallation was easy and the fit was good. Al seams and the edge binding seem to be very well made - better quality than the OEM awning that came with my RV.

The stitching on the mount, pole sleeve… too tight- even tried lube to slide- no go But being me- smoke rising! Thinking? We ended up using in a different project “stick built”, waterproof…. Weeks later started to drip “direct sun” Unfortunately didn’t work for Dutchman Thank you and many blessings

It will be a few days before I install this replacement awning on our travel trailer. But I did take it out to inspect the fit and quality. The material feels thicker than our factory awning which I like. The top color is great. I like the faded Gray. The underside is pure white which may lead to staining if the awning is rolled up wet or dirty and not washed after a trip and allowed to dry before storage. The banding that installs in the tract is good. What I feel is lacking is the edges are not hemmed. The material is just scissor cut straight which I assume could possibly lead to tearing if the awning is snagged on a tree limb. My factory awning is double hemmed on the edges. Thats good for edge strength but it failed in the middle after only 5 years. So much for the extra cost of having an awning with sewn edges. But for the price I feel the replacement awning is a much better value. It can be replaced three times for the price of a factory replacement awning. And I expect the life span will be about the same, maybe longer because the material is thicker. I think this replacement awning is a good value that will look great on our travel trailer. We recommend this purchase

This awning is much thicker than the one that came with my motorhome. The Grey ombre is prettier than the striped one from the manufacturer too. Installation was easy, but because it's thicker it's also heavier. I needed a helper to get this done. I like that the underside is white, our previous one was not, because it keeps it clean and bright looking in our shaded area. I use 30second cleaner on everything else motorhome related, so I'm sure that will work just fine with this as well.

I needed a little help since I'm disabled, but getting this set up was actually rather simple! I had a neighbor help to secure the top cord into the track on my RV from the roof, after a few maneuvers of the awning equipment, we slid the bottom in, and I had a new awning! The top is grey, and the underside is white, and for the value I know this will be worth it in the long run! Arizona sun and heat means this will last several years of full time use. The quality is well enough for the price it's costs, and for the fact it will likely last several years, while still offering decent performance and fit, I would recommend this product! I plan to do this whole dance again several years from now when this thing succumbs to the Arizona summers.
