I have had the ache to get a new set of clubs for a while. Since my set of 2006 Callaway Big Bertha irons had served me so well, I wanted to stay with the same brand. Checked around and many of the golf store pros recommended the new Mavrik irons. They told me that I would see a definitive difference in the performance from my older set. I can tell you that aside from hitting them a little higher that my old set, there is still no difference in the tech to me. As a matter of fact, I am not fond of the finish on the Mavriks. I already have some scuffs on the face of my 8&9 irons from hitting off fairways after 2 rounds. My old 2006 big berthas still look great. Good clubs. Heavier face reduces effort on the downswing and allows me to focus on turning through the ball. Ordered a set and it was missing the 5i. Ordered another set and it was whole. Returned the first set.

First of all, clubs are amazing. Beautiful clubs and feel great. The box....that was a different story all together. I ordered them from the Amazon Warehouse and knew there was a little damage to the box when I bought them. But DAMN!!! The top of the box was missing when it arrived. Not sure how they all made it, but they did! ... show more

These are fabulous irons. Went to tyr them out first and like them. Beautiful set and extremely balanced. Had to re adjust my distances when using these.

    • Fun to swing
I love the feel. I did lose a little distance but I switched from steel shafts to carbon shafts. So the clubs are a bit lighter. But I have more control with them.

    • Great irons, not a scam!
I ordered the irons for here, the reviews made me nervous but all seemed in 2020 so maybe covid really messed purchases. But I got them all and even 3 days earlier. The clubs are fantastic and hit swell for amateur golfers. My game has definitely approved.

These clubs are fantastic. Ordered them with the Graphite shaft. They feel great and my scores have been dropping using them. Easy to hit and very forgiving. If you're a hack like me, these clubs are for you!! Very glad I got these clubs.
