  • PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
This IS the game we have been asking for. For so long we wanted boots on the ground again without ridiculous abilities and boost packs and poorly designed maps. I truly feel like I am playing old school call of duty again and it has brought back my love for the franchise. The campaign is nothing to write home about, however it is a scenario that has been done so many times by so many games and they did a great job recreating it. But we buy call of duty for the multiplayer and zombies, not the campaign. Multiplayer I am in love with. The gun selection is amazing, the supply boxes are abundant, I never feel as if I need to spend extra money on this game for credits to get more. The maps are so nicely done, they are creative and well placed. They have a great flow to them. And regarding the battlefield comparison with size and leveloution. This game was never meant to be something like that, if it tried battlefield would destroy them. This is strictly a fast paced arena shooter. The score streaks are very well thought up and not overboard at all. My only complaint is it still doesn t capture the I'm in war ambiance like world at war did. But it is close. Regarding the bugs. This is a NEWLY released game. They are working on fixes every single day and giving regular updates. So calm down. Regarding the balance of the weapons. Half the time it's people that suck and can't even use a overpowered weapon anyways complaining that something is OP because they keep getting killed by talented players. Yes their may be some balance issues but it is no where as bad as people complain. Regarding the graphics. It is a nice looking game, the reason why they can't drastically improve on it is because this is a fast paced multiplayer game that NEEDS a steady 60fps. Every stutter in a game like this is highly noticable. Their is more going on than people expect in a game like this with score streaks going off, explosions, spawning and so much more. I'd gladly sacrifice graphics just to keep the game perfectly smooth. I bought a console for smooth and seamless multiplayer. I bought a gaming computer for stunning graphics. If you people have a problem please go to pc. Zombies. They managed to really impress me. A secondary gamemode like this needs to be over the top and tons of fun. The sheer selection of abilities. The giant intricate maps with so much to do and the fact they truly made it Nazi zombies again truly won me over. It is dark, scary and creepy. Most of all it is damn fun. Overall this is a extremely well built and designed game and I plan on having many many hours. Do i think it deserves 5 stars? Yes but barely. But it earned it. I just ask in the future they try to make it at least a 10 hour campaign. ... show more

  • Why the hate? This is a fun game!
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
Some background, I am an old school FPS player that hasn't really gotten into the COD franchise the past 8 or so years. I really enjoyed the first two COD's on PC, ironically back when it was a WW2 theme with single player emphasis. Those were super fun. The single player in this game is like all of the recent COD campaigns, ridiculously short. If you want to buy this for single player, don't bother. I actually bought a few of the last boots on ground games, and they had replayability due to the scenarios you could play, even in coop with a friend. I never got into multiplayer on any of the COD games because it was just a bunch of random people running and jumping all over the place. It didn't have the same realism that the campaign modes had, where you move around purposefully and tactically. I just thought the multiplayer was too arcade like. I enjoy arcade play as much as anyone, but I didn't connect with COD as an arcade game. I was hoping for more Rainbow Six purpose. I won't even get into the jetpack games. To summarize, not a fan. Now on to COD WW2. This game has slowed things down, making it harder to just run around aimlessly with no purpose, jumping and shooting. It's still COD, but it's a little more realistic and...human. This game has made me play more than an hour of multiplayer for once. I'm playing a lot and enjoying the COD party everyone's been raving about. To add to my enjoyment, I am a history buff and love the backdrop of WW2. Yes, it's not exactly historically accurate, but the elements and environment are accurate enough to be enjoyable. Really enjoying the real weapons that the game weapons are based on. I didn't realize there were so many obscure weapons used in the war, but yes, all based on real weapons. I'm currently on 3rd prestige and I don't think I'm slowing down anytime soon. I bought the DLC and it's only added to the already fun experience. Maybe this game isn't for everyone, especially the arcade jetpackers who think games suck when you can't easily shoot people in the back, but I'm really enjoying it. ... show more

  • Great Game. Not understanding Bad reviews!!!
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
On purchase of this game, I have played it continuously for 4 hours. I have found it to be a good game. Download time for the application and update was 20 minutes. I found the multiplayer to be smooth and played quite well with a slight lag of game load times. However the headquarters part is more than a bit much. I found that confusing and hard to understand parts of it. Have not been able to access my game statistics outside of pregame lobbies though. I have played all of, and only play Call of Duty games online. I’m just not seeing why this is getting the bad reviews that it is. Download was quick and smooth. Game play in multiplayer was very smooth. I could live with out the game follow screens where they have top players. Just show the score board, who won and who lost and move on. 1* reviewers. Come on guys. You said last time you weren’t going to buy another COD game and here you are reviewing the latest one. This is the game everyone asked for at the launch of COD-IW. Which was a horrible game. 2 steps worse than COD-BO3, I deleted Infinite Warfare after 2 months because it was so bad and did not get any better. BO3 is next to go. The Jumpy, Jumpy, Boingy, Boingy, Spacey, Spacey crap is just that, crap. Glad to see Activision listened to it consumers and created a good game that plays well, and the maps are incredibly detailed. If you have problems with this game, get over it, or go play something else. I’m looking forward to seeing some more Remastered Modern Warfare games if they do that. Thank You! ... show more
