The best olive oil, and they just got a top rating from Consumer Labs. I was happy that it is packaged in glass bottles rather than plastic. I was a little alarmed by how the 12 bottles were packed in a box with no padding. Fortunately they arrived unbroken, but that was lucky.

Tastes wonderful and is nice and thicker than most oils I have purchased in the past. Have never tried an oil I like better. I always smile when I see tv chefs using it. Can not go wrong with this brand.

I specifically intended to try CA olive oil, after learning how poorly regulated olive oil from major European exporter countries can be. This product was described as "100% CA olive oil". BUT the bottle I received has a "GLOBAL BLEND" sticker slapped on it, and the label states the oil is primarily from Argentina, Portugal, and Chile with 10 PERCENT CALIFORNIA olive oil in it. So much for "Buying American". Ironically, I often buy produce, seafood, and wine from Argentina and Chile, so had I not expected the 100% CALIFORNIA OLIVE OIL described, I probably would have tried this product at some point. The flavor is fine for an everyday cooking olive oil and the price is competitive. It's just that I'm old-fashioned, I guess: I expect to receive the product I paid for. ... show more
