Because it is only a 12” mattress they loosened up a little after sleeping on them but they were easy to straighten up. The best thing by far for me is that these sheets did not make me hot!!! I love these sheets, the denim color is softer and a different texture than the other colors which is odd to me. They have a little thicker more cozy feel and softer like a brushed cotton feel to them. I really like them. The gold ones are very thin and slick feeling but cool and sturdy feel to them. Pleasantly surprised how soft these sheets are! I also love the deep pockets for easy sheet fitting. My only concern is it says gentle wash , which I have done so far, but wonder if they would hold up for a long duration if put in normal wash? I love them so far!
