These 100 percent cotton sateen sheets and pillow cases are absolutely amazing. They're beautiful, soft, well-designed and of high quality. The fabric is a perfect thickness and extra durable even in high heat wash and drying. The extra deep pockets fit my mattress with a 3 inch topper easily. The elasticity of the corners is heavy duty and holds the sheets well in place. For convenience, they include a sewn in top/bottom label. The sheet set arrived on time and in beautiful packaging with special care. Because of this, California Design Den will always be my go-to for sheets!

California Design Den has the BEST Sheets on the market! They wash beautifully! Barely wrinkle in the dryer except for the top sheet hemmed areas. But....I iron the edges because I'm a perfectionist! I admit it...but they look perfect when the bed is made AND are so soft and crisp when sleeping on them! I cannot give these sheets enough stars for softness! The only sheet I will buy today is 100% cotton from CDD....period!!

I love these sheets!!!! Impressive quality and exactly the color and print/stripes I was going for. I bought a set of percale sheets from the same brand and I wasn’t sure which I would like better, and honestly they’re both fantastic and plan to keep both. As for the sateen ones I’m reviewing here, I seriously love them. While the percale ones are definitely cooler (actually, a more accurate word would be colder. They are actually cold to the touch), these sateen sheets are not too heavy or thick, and I think hot sleepers would be perfectly fine with them! They are slightly similar to the percale when it comes to that “crisp” feeling, but not quite as crisp and rather more smooth and butter soft!!!! I don’t notice any sheen or shininess really that apparently sateen sheets have, but that could just be the lighting in my bedroom. I don’t care about that either way. They are incredibly well made with no loose threads or other issues as far as I can tell. High quality elastic around the fitted sheet that feels very durable. I anticipate they will last me a long time and I’m planning on buying another set! A couple things to note that could be relevant to you when considering to purchase: the pillow cases are not envelope closure, and you cannot buy extra pillow cases in this specific print. It looks like brand only sells extra pillow case pairs in the solid colors (for all of their different weaves) both on Amazon and on their website. I wash and replace my pillow cases often so this is my only slight disappointment, but it’s only because I love these sheets so much!

After eyeballing these sheets and the reviews for a while, they went on sale-further reduced from an already low price (we all know how expensive sheets can be). My thought process was of these sheets didn’t work out, I didn’t spend that much and it wouldn’t be a huge loss. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! It took a bit to receive them, but they showed up yesterday and I immediately put them in the wash, and dried on low as instructed. They didn’t take too long to dry- and naturally, 100% cotton is going to be a little more wrinkly than others. That doesn’t bother me. I put these sheets on straight out of the dryer. I had zero issues with the fitted sheet fitting my mattress. The top sheet is not as wide as I’m used to, but it’s large enough. Now, the real test! We slept on them last night. They are so soft! Now, if you’re used to the sateen feel- this is going to be a little different. I’ve had all sheet ranges in the past from 1000 thread count, to 200 thread count. I sleep warm, so I need sheets that breathe and can’t use the 1000 thread counts. These sheets fit the bill perfectly! I felt like they are breathable, and I didn’t sweat. I was so cozy. In fact, I woke up a few times in the middle of the night just to move around in bed and relish in the coziness. They honestly feel like the sheets we’ve slept in at the Four Seasons hotel. Are they super thick? No. But I dislike thick sheets. They seem very well made and I have no concerns that they are going to last. Others have mentioned that they further soften with each wash. I’m looking forward to that and truly considering purchasing more and throwing away all of my old sets. I purchased the bright white, so I’ve had no issues with color as others have. They are truly bright white. I regret not purchasing these sooner!

Okay, so I’ve been on a mission to find high-end bedding without paying boutique prices, and these California Design Den sheets are it. If you’ve been eyeing Brooklinen or other fancy brands, save your money and get these instead. Quality-wise, they go neck-and-neck with the luxury brands for a fraction of the cost. Insanely Soft: Right out of the box, the 400 thread count cotton feels amazing—super silky, smooth, and breathable. They have that crisp, luxurious hotel feel that honestly just gets softer every time you wash them. Actually Stylish: The pinstripe pattern is subtle, clean, and makes the whole bed look instantly put-together. It looks way more expensive than it actually is. Great Fit: The 16-inch deep pockets actually stay put and don’t pop off the corners overnight. Plus, they have top/bottom tags so you aren't guessing which way the fitted sheet goes. If you want absolute luxury, amazing durability, and high-end style without paying top dollar, buy these. 10/10 recommendation!

I love these sheets! I am new to 100% cotton (a former microfiber user). I was so afraid these would be scratchy and stiff. They are not. Feels like sleeping at a nice hotel! They are substantial, soft, and feel like they will last a long time. I washed in warm water, dried on delicate heat, and they came out smelling so fresh and clean. NOTE: the pillowcases are HUGE! See the size listed. They will not work for standard sized pillows.

I ordered the white sheets with blue flowers pattern in a queen size. They fit our 10 inch deep mattress very well. They stay put and are very smooth and comfortable. They had a strong odor when I first opened them, but it was gone after washing them. The sheets came out of the dryer with no wrinkles. I am considering ordering another set for the guest room.
