Love these sheets - I am a hot sleeper so cool, light sheets are a must. 500 TC is a nice compromise of quality and skin feel vs. cost. These feel cool, and light weight- great 3 season sheets. I will put a heavier cotton or jersey for winter. This cotton is so incredible against your skin, not scratchy but soft though not super supple but crisp like you want in a cotton sheet. I would like them more if they weren't so tight- I have a standard depth mattress (about 10 to 11 in.) plus a 2" latex mattress pad for extra cushiness and a quilted mattress cover, (so about 15 in. or so overall depth for my mattress). These sheets are stretched to the absolute maximum to get them on my queen bed. I think they may have shrunk a bit in the wash, though I always dry my sheets on medium heat - they wrinkle if left to sit after drying but are not bad if you fold or put them on the bed quickly after coming out of the dryer. I will buy these again and look for a deeper pocket in their collection- the pillow cases have pocket fold over to keep the end of the pillow from showing, which is a nice touch too ... show more

I purchased this brand's item quite blindly when trying to replace my husband's favorite white cotton sheets sets that were no longer available from a company that had gone out of business. He was having cancer surgery and I wanted to make sure he was as comfortable as could be upon his return from the hospital. These sheets are BRILLIANT! They wash up time after time without pilling found often in synthetic and bamboo sheets. They're cotton and even in lesser thread count feel substantial and luxurious but so easy to care for especially if you follow the simple directions enclosed. They are GENEROUS and very easy to fit even larger mattresses. They even indicate a top of the head and foot of bed direction tag! We live in AZ and being cotton on 100° nights, these breathe and absorb perspiration like luxury cotton. I don't put any other brand on the bed since we found Design Den cotton sheets and I am a devoted fan for life! ... show more

Soft fabric and lovely color. It fits nicely over the mattress. The most important things to me is, DOES IT PILL??? I have not washed the sheets yet but I have bought these sheets before and so I don’t expect any pilling. You can get cheaper sheets but I like this quality!
