I purchased this assortment of fine grit sandpaper to refinish my headlights. The refinishing kit came with only 3000 grit so I used a consecutively finer grit for each step finally finishing up the polishing with 10000 grit. They headlights look amazing.

I wasn't sure where to find a sand paper with such a fine grit locally, so Amazon was the quickest option available at the moment. The paper worked good to gently remove a damaged nitrocellulose lacquer layer to prepare to refinish a guitar. While it did wear out sort of quickly, it did work for my needs. My boyfriend is a carpenter and I am always stealing his sandpaper. I found these on Amazon and couldn’t believe I could get 10,000 grit! It is perfect for my resin projects, now I can sand away imperfections and because the grit is so high I don’t have to pour another layer of resin to get rid of the scratches. I needed ultra fine grit sandpaper and I got it. Polished all that ugly orange peel from this model. I really appreciate that they send you a lot of sheets per grit. More than I initially thought. Great deal! My only negative point is that the grit strips really quick. If you're using this for large surfaces like furniture, you'll be out of it fairly quick. ... show more
