  • I love these
Color: White Barrel
I had to learn how to use these markers but once I got it, they were great! I made a color chart since the seller didn't include one, and that took a while to do but, very worth it. They blend well but they do bleed through paper most of the time. If you are working in a sketch book or something like that, I recommend putting a sheet of wax paper between the pages so the ink won't bleed through to whatever is behind it. Easy solution and very vibrant colors! 🎨🖌️ I love these! 5/5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... show more

  • Better than other brands out there!
Color: White Barrel
These are good quality markers. I previously had Ohuhu markers and while they were not bad, these are much better in quality. To begin with, ohuhu markers seem to work best out of the fine tip end only. I found the chisel tip was never that great on any of them. Not to mention the shape of the chisel tip was not very good either. In comparison, the Caliart markers work perfectly fine from both ends and I find the chisel tip to be more precise and well shaped. If you have ohuhu markers you will notice that the fine tip is not that fine and it’s very soft, so it’s easy to make rather large markings with it. The Caliart fine tip is much more rigid and will make much finer lines. The Caliart markers also seem to blend much nicer into themselves. I find that when coloring large spaces with alcohol based markers, when you color in sections you will end up with streaks showing throughout. This is much less obvious with the Caliart markers. Overall, these are very good markers for a pretty good price. Of course in comparison to Copic markers these still don’t get that close. I own some Copic Ciao markers and the Caliart markers tips come nowhere near close to the quality of Copic tips. However, the tips are still pretty good and the ink and pigmentation is good too. I do find myself going over twice with lighter shades but overall the color payoff is pretty good. Lastly, the markers are rounded unlike ohuhu’s or other brands and it may be a personal preference but I find it much more comfortable to work with. If you’re looking for some decent markers and don’t have the money to dish out on Copics, I’d say these are a pretty good choice. ... show more

  • Way too many Greens!! UPDATE 2 Days Later
Color: White Barrel
Two days later, I was just bothered by the greens that I contacted the company. I requested an exchange of some of my greens for some others colors they have on stock. The contacted me back immediately and informed me they had no other colors and that the set they have now is the only color set they have on stock. They were very concerned over my dissatisfaction they offered to refund my money, which I took and provided them the markers back. For me customer services is more very important. The fact that they contacted me within 24 hours and without hesitation offered me a refund gave them another star for a total of 4 stars. I would buy from this company again knowing they have my back. I was so excited to get this set of alcohol markers. I did my research by looking at tons of YouTube videos and reading articles. I struggled on what brand to get and finally decided to go with this brand because I felt they offered a great deal for the price and the reviews were positive. Unfortunately, for me the was not a good bag of because of the imbalance of marker colors. I received 26 greens, but I added to from another color group making it 28 (Almost 30% of my colors are in the green family!!!) because they were more on the green side for example the Olive yellow was to green for me to put it with the yellow group. I would have been happier if there was a balance between the green and blues, but there was not. I only received 13 blue marker colors. There were two additional markers I felt I could have been replaced (Baby Skin Pink) because they did not look like a color at all they only made the paper look like a dirty oil stain. The marker colors are all named, which is great, on a small silver stickers; you might need reading glasses to read them if your as old as I am. The names make sense and are not so off the cuff that you are scratching your head asking yourself "what were they thinking?" Color names include ultramarine, deep violet, tan, pastel blue and salmon; color names that are practicle. The markers colors have good color when coloring and if streaking occurs you can get rid of that streak by adding more marker color to even out the saturation in that section of the paper. I feel I do have a good amount of browns, purple an yellows, but could really have had more blues and a few more skin tone colors, which could have easily been done by reducing the number of greens in the package (28%!!) They blend well together and the blender works really well his helping in the blending process. I even used to different colors and the with a bit of work I was able to get the colors to blend. I like the square body shape, which makes it easy to hold on to and comfortable for those long coloring sessions. The square body also keeps the marker from rolling off the flat surface you are working on having you to stop coloring and get up to pick it off the ground. The fine tip is a great size and is actually one of the other reasons I bough this set. When looking at reviews on YouTube I notice a lot of the fine tips were short and stubby while this one is a bit longer and thinner making it easier to see what you are doing in small tight spots within adult coloring books. The broad tip works well and has a good angle cut for easy coloring. The lids are a bit hard to pull of, but I suspect with use they will loosen up and become easer to take off. Another selling point is that the top can be caped at the end of the marker so you don't lose it. Keeps me from losing the top and having to search for it (I hate when this happens.) I must say that I do like the case it came in. It is a black sturdy bag with a solid zipper with their name up front. The bag has a handle for easy carrying and the bag appears it will last the lifetime of the markers. They could improve the bag by putting a solid bottom in it. I took out all the colors to see my inventory and it was a bit of a job to get all the colors in it due to the markers wanting to slide flat at the bottom and the bag itself wanting to collapse in on itself. Overall, if it weren't for way too many green colors, not enough blues, and the two unusable colors I would give this a solid 5 *****. So why three stars. I think for me it warrants it because I could have used more blues, oranges (only got five), and skin tones to balance the bag out for me. So my dilemma is do I keep them or do I return them. I like the markers a lot and feel I could learn to be happy with them. The killer is that I am going to have to buy more blues and a few more other colors to balance the bag out. If your okay with 28% of the bag being green colors then take the plunge and buy this set. You'll be happy with it. The other colors seem to be a good range of them for example the yellows are varied enough that I may not need to use the blender. Hope this helped. ... show more
