The item was used to replace a missing bed frame claw on my bed rail. Hook Plates seems of good quality and fit as expected. The only problem is the included pins which where smaller than the plate holes. I had to replace them with 3/8" x 1.5" bolts and washers. I would recommend ordering this item without the pins if possible as there are very small. ... show more

These are nearly identical to the hook plates that are used to attach side rails to headboards and footboards on most beds. I needed to make a second set of side rails for use on my toddlers bed and these worked perfect. Used a dado blade set on the table saw to make channels and drilled holes (just on one side) to put the pin in. I used some wood glue to hold the pin in place as well. ... show more
