    • Perfect fit for Mr. Coffee 4-cup Pause n Serve
This nicely priced pot works perfectly as a replacement for the Mr. Coffee 4-cup Pause n Serve (TF Series) (the Mr. Coffee replacement decanter item number is SPD3 or SPD4 depending on the color). The shorter pause-and-serve adapter piece works with this particular coffeemaker. Even though the small “knob” and holes of the adapter don’t appear to be large enough to work without making a mess, they do indeed work just fine. Just be sure the pot is placed fully on the burner, since there is not as much room for error as there was with the original pot. A note to people who had trouble with coffee dribbling or spilling from the spout: you just have to pour from the pot a little more slowly and at a less acute angle than you’re used to. My first pour made a bit of a mess, but now I’m used to taking a few more milliseconds to fill my mug. (It’s a 19-ounce mug, so it does feel like a long wait!) Added 11/2016: Wanted to mention that this pot is STURDY. Twice now I've put it down too hard on marble countertops and expected it to at least crack, if not shatter. It hasn't done either. Not that I advise being that careless, but it is still nice to know that the pot was made to last. ... show more

I'm so excited that this fits my KRUP 4 cup maker. I tried many others but this one came with two lid options and one of them worked. It is a very tight fit but it works.

    • Does not work with Cuisinart DCC-450BK
It's a nice coffee pot and comes with two different attachments that are supposed to make it work with a wide variety of coffee makers, but unfortunately ours, the Cuisinart DCC-450BK, is not among them. The lid without any attachments is too low to deactivate the brew-pause feature, and both of the attachments are too tall to fit. Otherwise seems to be a very nice product. ... show more

    • Whadda' ya' know, it's actually pretty Universal
I was pleasantly surprised to find that this carafe is a lot more universal than its product description would imply. I got it as a replacement for my Faberware (so fab!) 5 cup maker's carafe after an accident that totally had nothing to do with clumsiness. I was expecting to have to take the pliers to the sneak-a-cup thingy in my coffee maker as this carafe seemed too short to keep the stopper held up. Lo' and behold, the universal carafe comes with two snap-in adapters for the lid, so it actually holds up the stopper like the original carafe. I'm not sure if it'll work with everything out there, but the shorter of the two adapters works perfectly for me. Only gripe is the pouring spout seems to dribble a bit, but who knows, maybe my hands were just trembling with an unreasonable amount of excitement over a thing that retains hot liquid better than a mug propped up with a pickle jar lid. Still, good to know there's something out there when I inevitably break another one. ... show more

    • Not fit a 1–4 cup Braun coffee maker.
This does not fit a 1–4 cup Braun coffee maker. Although the markings indicate compatibility, it doesn’t come close to filling the 4-cup model it was meant to replace. It's also slightly too tall to fit properly, and I have to pay the shipping fee to return it.

I have a Mr Coffee Coffeemaker (4 cups), model AD4, 13 years old, and this fits like a glove! I gave it a try to this replacement carafe and I have been using it in a daily basis for 6 months now. After 14 years with the original, I was ready to having to buy a newer maker once I accidentally broke it. Gave it a try to this and yes, is an almost perfect replacement, and I only say "almost" because it does not have the exact same capacity as the original, maybe 1/4 of a cup less or such, but not a big problem. ABOUT THE DRIPPING: I can't believe people complain about the carafe dripping!! Hey, big rocket science solution: when it's too full, lift the lid with your thumb, and pour slowly... you would have to do that for about.. 5 seconds, and then pour at your normal speed. TA-DAAA!!.. IN OTHER WORDS: The lid & dripping IS NOT A PROBLEM unless you leave the lid on and/or pour too fast. Very happy with my purchase! ... show more
