I landed on this bag after extensive searching and a few returns of “normal” camera bags. This bag protects my Sony A6000 camera and 3 lenses (16-50mm kit, Sigma 16mm, Sigma 56mm) while still offering additional storage at the top for quick day trip items (snacks, mini tripod, jacket etc...). This bag is comfortable, simple in design and doesn’t scream “I have a camera in here” like most of the other smaller camera bags out there. Pros - Small size (in a good way) - Top storage area - super useful to carry extra snacks, light jacket etc... - Minimalist, simple design without a bunch of logos or straps. Also stands up easily on its own when you put it down (love that). - Water bottle holder - Removable padded camera tray. I often pull this out of my bag and just put it on a table so I have quick access to all my lenses. - Reasonable price Cons - Dual zipper on side to open camera tray is a little awkward to open when wearing the bag. Velcro enclosure on top makes it feel a little cheap. Would prefer if this was just a single zipper all the way around. ... show more

I have been using it almost daily since I bought it two years ago and it has held up wonderfully. None of the stitching has come loose and the canvas still looks pristine. I love the easy access to my camera the side zipper provides, but nowadays I mostly use this backpack for school. It can hold my laptop, planner, and books with plenty of space to spare. There’s not a lot of pockets, but the bag is roomy. I find it comfortable to wear for long periods of time even when it’s full. ... show more

So prefect, lots of space and pockets to keep everything safe, not too bulky, and looks professional and yet very functional too. I love that the bottom slides out to the side for easy changing of lenses, and has velcro dividers that can be placed wherever you need them to accommodate your gear safely. and the top pocket fits my laptop in the back and extra storage for extra gear or props. Cannot speak highly enough about this bag. Extremely functional and modern sleek minimalist design. Sturdy construction and high quality fabric and stitching. This bag is perfect for one camera and an extra lens, or three lenses and the camera on your body, or just the body in the main compartment. Shooting with it has been so fun, and the grey is a purple-y grey which is tres chic. When I openeded it, there was a note stating that if I wasn't happy with the backpack to throw it away! And then contact customer service to get a refund or replacement *until I was happy* and all the designers of the bag signed the bottom. You can't get any better customer service than that! That, dare I say it? That even beats Amazon! Incredibly happy with this, I wouldn't dream of throwing it away. There are straps for a tripod on the bottom and a waterbottle pocket on the side. Perfect for film classes and feild shooting. This is the epitome of functionality and the medium size one camera one additional lens bag I've been looking for, and so affordable!     • Initial thoughts: This backpack is slightly better than previous version(s).
Back in 2017 I bought an older version of this backpack. I wanted something that was not obviously a camera bag and that still applies to having just recently purchased this version to replace my 2017 one. The older backpack had its issues, like the handles to get access to the camera broke after a few uses, or in the main compartment the divider was held together with velcro and not sturdy therefore not able to hold much of any weight. Minor things but overall the bag was so good I opted to get a new CADen camera bag. The thing I like this time around that I think are improvements are that the main compartment's divider is fastened not by velcro but by a zipper so I think it should be more secure (am about to go out and use the bag for the first time). The lower section that houses the camera, only one side has the pull down handle which gives space on the other side to hold a water bottle; this is a huge plus as the previous version lacked this and had no compartment for bringing a water bottle and as a photographer, the last thing I want to hold a water bottle around the whole time especially on a hike where I'm taking nature photos, etc. Also the camera compartment is bigger (height) which allows me to keep my vertical battery grip on now. Overall side by side, this bag is slightly smaller than the older version and I like that it feels a bit more compact. The shoulder straps also feel more comfortable and reinforced than the previous. I DO wish that they kept from the old to this version is in the main compartment's upper section, the older version had a mesh pocket and two extra small pockets for loose items. This version got rid of the mesh pocket where I'd put a moleskin notebook, pen, lens cleaners, etc and now the two extra smaller pockets I'd put filters or extra batteries, memory cards, etc., is now one large pocket that you can zip which cannot hold the same amount of items as the old mesh and two smaller pockets could. The upper section is a bit smaller to compensate for the larger height of the camera compartment which is not a big deal, I can still fit three extra camera lenses but am now unsure about how much extra smaller items I can bring as I don't want them bumping around on my lenses. OH finally, that mesh water bottle holder is so small and material sewed on so tight that even stretching it I cannot fit my water bottles (this is with my camera and a lens in the bottom main compartment) in so I would need to buy a smaller thin one which I don't want to do. Overall I think the bag is a slight improvement than previous and I would love to see some of the old with the new in a future bag. Will go out and use it and update this review if need be, but this is my first initial thoughts as I've changed out all my equipment out into this bag. ... show more
