The adhesion is decent, it has only detached when a cord is kind of bulky and pulls the strip up because it can’t slide through. For example, pulling an iPhone charger through is no issue, but a standard power cable for your PC or monitor for example is too thick to pull through, you need to remove the cord and the put the cord back when you’re done moving the computer etc or the strip may come off as you pull.

Handy & helps keep my workspace in order. I use them for more than just wires; cellphone stylus pen holder & earbud holders. The larger pieces can be cut with an X-acto knife. A little on the larger size compared to other products but I think that's so the adhesive backing doesn't fail due to the weight/tension of the cables running through it. I would absolutely purchase this product again.
