These are definitely NOT heavy duty "50 lbs" or able to withstand -40° to 185° F. As soon as I put the end of the cable in to pull it through, the tab broke. Tried a few more with the exact same results. I can't see these holding anything out door. I was trying to tie lights to a fence. MAYBE using for very light indoor use, such as holding cables together, it would hold but I wouldn't trust it. I was also able to snap the extra end of the cable off very easily. If I can do it with no effort, it definitely won't stand up to outdoor or any kind of medium to heavy use. ... show more

Missing lock capability on some, broke in two. Bend them and plastic would crack. Don’t sell these. My return window closed sept. Just stated using on 10/22/22. Hopefully garbage co can recycle these and send them back to CHI er!

Will they keep the nutcase in the seat next to you subdued until you land ? Probably not, but for everything else you need a zippy tie for they work.
