I got this doll for my niece, so I consider this doll my "great-niece". My niece is mixed and has brown eyes, and I wanted a doll that reflected that. She just turned 1, so the doll was the perfect size with a soft body that will allow her to sleep with her if she wants to. I think it is great that there are black dolls out there. I think this doll is great, but I think you need a third doll with darker skin.
