These storage cubes are sturdy. I like them and I need my space organized. I have wire storage cubes from almost 20 years ago and these appear to be similar. They fit together but beware: if you get the brown cubes, the connectors are black. The color change makes the cubes visually noisy once assembled. I added self adhesive wheels to the bottoms of my cubes to move around easily if needed. The cubes are a good value. I got them on sale and I think for the price I paid, this is a good value. Installation was OK. The shelves need to be locked into the connectors and that takes time. The hammer that comes with it didn’t really work for me, but I was able to get it together in about 45 minutes to an hour. My item arrived whole; no missing parts. So yes, this is a good product. I would recommend it with the caveat that if you get the brown shelves, the connectors are black making for a visually noisy representation. The color mismatch is the only reason I gave this product 4 stars. ... show more

Used it for a pop up event to display keychains, signs, and also separate the space accessible to customers and to me. It's modular design was very helpful in making a display set up while also creating space to store supplies like bags, extra print stock, pens, and more behind the "counter". It was easy to set up with only needing some elbow grease to get the corners of each wire grid to fit in. Need some elbow grease to tuck them into the connectors. Otherwise great. Actually bigger than I thought. I took a pic of, 2x2 (4 cubes) formation vs a 2-drawer dresser I just got — the 2x2 stack is slightly bigger. And also works with the storage tote, also from Amazon — hiding my hoard.

Perfect solution for the extra storage I needed in my small master closet - exactly what I was looking for. So, as far as looks...it looks fine - it is metal and kind of industrial looking, but perfect for the space in my closet. I wouldn't really want it in any part of our house where it could be "seen" as it does not match the decor in our home, but that's not what it was intended for. I just want to mention it in case anyone was curious about its style. Once put together it is surprisingly sturdy - not prone to coming apart at the joints. That was a nice surprise considering it's low price point. You could definitely affix a piece of wood on the top to make some nice, additional shelf space. I saw some complaining that it was hard to put together, but I'd describe it as being more annoying than hard...you have to brace the pieces as you kind of click them together. It was definitely easier with a 2nd set of hands. It took maybe 15 minutes to put together. I saw others complaining that they'd been shorted on the connectors. I want to say that mine came with an extra bag of four of them...as well as one extra wire shelf. Honestly, this was a great purchase - glad I got it! ... show more
