There's many options out there for making grid walls to display art, merchandise, and other items at craft shows and other events. C&A's 9-12 cube wire displays do not disappoint. It's so versatile and very simple to put together even if you are not handy at all and get anxiety sweat looking at furniture assembly instructions. I found I didn't even need the enclosed wooden hammer. Once you connect a few of the grids and figure out how to put them together, it's easy peasy. You can build like the product image if you're selling clothes at the event. Make "bins" of different sizes if customers will go through it themselves. I created an entire wall with extra grid on the right, left, and bottom for stability. Put some floating shelves or retail hooks up there to display your work. You can also use S-hooks and artist wire. Breaks down in no time! Very portable so you can easily ship or put in a large suitcase in the original box. This makes them ideal for taking to conventions: cars, wagons, and dollies have very limited room. This is more compact and versatile than those linen shelves or giant pieces of grid. You only have to build as much as you need! I highly recommend buying TWO of these for your standard 10x10 booth. Just one will be fine if you other display options like foldable shelves, pull-out bins, a table for smaller items, etc. But if you want to create a large wall that fits lots of paintings and spans at least two sides of the booth, two of these 9-cube grids should work. C&A also sells extra connectors, which I recommend buying to create more display combinations and in case you lose them. Zip ties will also work to provide extra connection and flexibility.

Before I purchased this metal mesh storage unit, I read all the one star and two star reviews. Most of them stated that the unit was hard to put together, or was flimsy. Granted, the assembly was a tedious job, but if you followed the instructions, and did it right, the unit went together just fine. I had a little difficulty at first, but that was before I read the entire instruction manual. Once I knew what to do, it all went smoothly. Tapping each connection with the little wooden hammer made all the difference in the world. When I was finished, I was able to pick up the unit of eight square sections and carry it to it's intended spot. Another complaint I read in several other reviews said that it wasn't sturdy enough. If you read the ad correctly, you will discover that they limit the weight allowance for each square as no more than eleven pounds. Some stated that their books made the unit collapse. How many books do you think would weigh less than a pound each? These units are made for light weight items, such as sweaters, or towels. I ordered mine to hold my many skeins of yarn, and it is holding them just fine. When you purchase an item, use it as it intended and you will most likely be satisfied. This unit fit in my budget very well, and is suiting me for the purpose I had in mind. I gave it four stars because it isn't the best item of its kind, but it functions well for me.

Got these for toy storage for my sons room. These went together pretty easily, didn't need the little mallet that was included. Very easy to reposition pieces and make different configurations. Sturdy enough but still light, definitely not climbable or anything. Will probably order a few more to add on.

I wanted something to organize "bits and pieces" that need to be close to my "office," which is just a little piece of my (only) bedroom. I took some measurements, went to Amazon, and found ... JUST THE RIGHT THING! This item is wonderful. SUPER easy to assemble, VERY lightweight, plus, being metal, it will take a magnet, which is how that white board is "stuck" to the unit now. I may buy more of these units, because I live in a small home and I can seriously use more of this easy, sturdy, spacious storage. Great stuff. Love it. BUY IT.

Surveying the scene of small artist vendors at conventions, storage units like these are often used to display artwork, and as an artist preparing for my first convention, I wanted to get my own. These might be great for personal home storage (granted, is the intended use), they're easy to put together, and being able to customize is a huge plus. The panels are all slightly warped, making it hard to get them snuggly into the connectors. Taking everything out of the box, the coating on the panels came off everywhere and there were lots of chips and dents in them. The grid-like pattern is too large to have a nice layout of displayed work. If you're looking for a low-budget furniture item, sure. If you're looking for something as an artist or something that'll work in your home, I would NOT recommend. I will be returning this product.

Love this storage unit! Putting it together was a bit of a challenge… The metal sides (corners) have to be fully snapped all the way into the connectors or the unit will come apart as you are trying to add other pieces. Learned that the hard way!
