On the set that I got the negative and positive on the lights was reversed. Just went red to black and black to red and all worked out. Pretty bright

I mounted these to the hood of my ram CV minivan that I have turned to a camper. I slightly angled these lights out to the sides of my vehicle to help see deer alongside the road late at night and while on rural roads around campsites. Like most aftermarket LED lights it is best practice to turn them off when others are coming towards you because they are extremely bright. It may be better to have the right and left on independent switches so you can turn the left one off when In populated areas. (Check your local laws regarding aftermarket lights. NY sucks everything is banned) They haven't accumulated any water inside of them and the paint hasn't chipped or faded. I did not use the included wiring harness. I made my own and wired it to a fuse block where I have the rest of my accessories. We'll see how they do this winter, I will update if they fall apart ... show more
