This drone is a great value for the price point. I was interested in having a drone but not interested in spending a thousand dollars for a pro model. So, I ordered what I thought would be a good intro to drones, and clearly made a good decision. This drone is easy to set up and easy to get started. The down side for me, personally, is that it takes a little hand/eye coordination and an adventerous mentality. I have the latter but not so much the former. Regardless of my personal learning curve, it has been so much fun practicing. It's a rugged and smart device and relates well with my iPhone 13 mini smartphone. I'm blown away by the videos and pics that I have taken with this drone, with such high quality. It's exhilarating flying, and even talking about my 'flights' gets my heart racing. So, here's the icing on the cake: I'm flying the thing and I hadn't realize that one of the blades was severed during one of my numerous crashes, which by the way are getting fewer and fewer. The drone was taking a weird path towards trees and a brook and, of course, I panicked and steered the wrong way, even more towards the trees. The drone got caught up in branches, stalled and descended to the ground, right into a shallow brook that runs on my property line. Unfortunately, it landed in about 5 inches of water, which although easily retreivable, ultimately ruined parts of the drone's electronics and killed the battery. I called Bwine's support number and simply wanted to know the most economical way to get back up and running again from my own stupid sequence of events. They asked me to send a video of what damage had been done to the drone. Essentially, only two of the propellers worked after my accident. I sent them a video of the semi-lame drone trying to achieve lift-off, and without further ado, they said they were going to send me a "bare drone" (meaning no peripherals, blades, batteries, bag, etc). What I received was much more than a bare drone and enough parts/accessories to get me up and running again. So, I continue my droning adventures! I absolutely love this "toy". I don't know if I'll elevate to the "pro" model and invest 5 times the cost of this one, and not sure that I would want to. This is a great little little investment that is generating hours of fun. My friends and neighbors are just as enthralled as I am with this little device, and actually think that I'm a good pilot! I swear, if you're thinking about getting into the 'droning life', this is a great jumping off point, because it's a great device and it's a great company to deal with, with awesome customer support. I have been flying itfor little bit now and the controls are really simple and easy to use and I’m only 13. But the drone comes with a cover for the camera with a slit thing on it, which I thought you were supposed to have it on while your flying it, so the center top and bottom had blur, so the photo isn’t at the best angle because I was trying not to show the blur, but just realized that you’re supposed to take it off, so now it’s good, very happy with my purchase, and the quality of the controller ( I have the SE ) is really nice and high quality, but I do wish the drone had guard brackets around the propellers because I very lightly crashed and it destroyed the propellers, but got replaced, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ... show more

This is my first experience with drones, as I received this drone as a gift from my wife, due to my longtime interest in flight. Overall I found the Bwine F7Mini SE model drone to be; fully functional, easy to learn to operate, excellent instructions, good camera quality, and overall satisfactory. Because this is a beginner’s drone, and is obviously very reasonably priced, the drone is compact and very lightweight. Easy to fly and pretty much anyone can fly the first. I will say the quality of the drone is great and the performance was way above what I expected.     • JUNK!!! Beware!!!

Could not be more unhappy with this drone. Out flying for the second time. Was controlling the drone at about 20 yards away. Started to feel a little uncomfortable so I pressed the return to home button. The drone then went straight up, turned the other direction and zoomed off. I watched helplessly as the drone went farther and father away and refused any other commands. Eventually it disappeared from sight. I used the locate drone feature but unfortunately the thing flew a quarter mile away and into a grove of tall trees. I can only presume the drone was somewhere 100+ feet above my head in a tree. I couldn't see it and it would not respond or make a sound. The thing should beep or something when it's lost. What a piece of junk. If you want to spend money and lose this thing by all means buy it...otherwise I'd say steer way clear! I am also able to use the flight log and prove that it went crazy. The last entry in the log, which was in Chinese (I used Google translate) shows flight mode was in Return mode yet it flew to a distance of 315.9 meters from the takeoff point.
