Bought this for our 7 year old birthday, and it did not disappoint! He is extremely hard on everything he uses, nothing seems to last a week. But this truck is worth every penny, we will not drive it in mud, but water it's doing good, sand? Great! We have a sand box out back and it always seems to make it in the sand box, doing spin outs, being buried and jumping a ramp in and out of it. The suspension on this truck is real, with real working, spring loaded shock absorbers, which make rolling through the grass, jumping, landing ramps that much better. It comes with 2 battery packs, 2 chargers. Sadly just like everything else no wall charger.... Batteries seem to last a fair amount of time depending on the terrain you drive on. Overall it's a fantastic truck! Don't waste anymore money on those cheap trucks from Walmart! ... show more

Update got new car NEW this time no issues for exchange from Amazon. So for review. Speed: to fast for indoors really. Could be faster outside but they say it's not super fast. (Faster then 6 year old can run) Climb: it's good . Grass yard moves fine . Up hills good . Up small stairs even. Will stand up on back end trying to go up a tree. Turn: it's not the best . Pretty decent radius, but hard at slow speed (this is another reason not good inside) Battery: comes with 2 and Usb chargers last about 20 min each in full play. Swimming: What most RC don't do this! So I did get to do alot with this yet it does float. It moved forward and turned. And it came back so that was good (test done on sandy Beach in surf so yea) Puddles fine to . This is great because you can drive it in or after rain and it works. Loooks: It's clean shiny off road rally truck look. Decent quality build. Looks like RC you would build. Nice tires . No antenna wires . Overall it's a good RC. No building and no maintenance. Great for younger kids and anyone that wants to get their RC wet and muddy. I'm having fun and it's awesome for my 6 year old son. Original post Came dirty / used contents obviously have been opened before. Dirty tires dried dirt in front in adjuster area. This truck is BIG, STRONG and it's water proof Just what I was lookin for 👍 Im sorry to say 😁 but I'm over 50yrs old and I bought this remote truck for me and my dogs amusement Since its very cold out I've built pillow mountains and furniture obstacles for the truck to navigate and It does great I also bought a much smaller faster truck that I also like a lot but I wanted something big, strong and water proof I also purchased an extra batterie for extended fun with my Jack Russell ...he loves this truck as much as I do He can't wait for me to start it up and chase him with it 🤣 Update: 4/30/21 Since the weather has warmed I've taken my truck outside several times and this truck runs over everything bricks, rocks, stones, dirt, grass, water...I give it a real good run every time I start it up. At full speed the battery last a full 30 minutes...insert the back up battery and I have 1 hr of monster truck fun ! So if you have a son or daughter or whatever...this is the remote truck you want to buy them ...👍👍 ... show more

The car is not as big as pictured but it is big. My 5 year old absolutely loves it! He took it out on snow, rocks, and even makes it go up the side walk. Battery doesn't last as long as we want but it's enough to keep a kid happy. Remote is easy to use to. He has crashed it a couple times and it is still going. This thing is awesome and tough! My 105 pound rottweiler and my 3 year old son both love to play tag with it and it's holding up great so far. Battery life on one battery is nearly unbelievable and the other is pretty good too. I wish the remote was as good as the vehicle. It's ok, but not very responsive and very awkward to hold and use. Also the remote does not feel nearly as high quality as the car itself. Overall very happy with our purchase, I just wish we could replace the remote with something a little nicer and better. Please note this car is not very fast, but that's exactly what we wanted. It may not be a rocket, but very few things can slow it down or stand in its way. 10/10 would recommend for a young child. ... show more

    • Be careful when you get it into the water!
We loved this car, its speed and driving control but, we learned it's not really waterproof. The first time we use it in water, the car just died. Now it doesn't respond to anything. It doesn't goes forward, backward, the wheels doesn't turn... nothing! It just doesn't work, like it has no battery. Fortunately, the manufacturer is responding the best way they can! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The main reason I purchased this RC truck was the fact it's 100% waterproof. It was pouring rain the day it showed up, but no matter, it's waterproof! My son took it out for a long time finding mud and water puddles, wet grass, etc. No issues, battery compartment is sealed and was dry with every battery change. Battery life is pretty impressive. It's not the fastest RC truck, but it's easy to control. When we were done in the mud, just hose it off. Great purchase! UPDATE: After owning the truck for a few months, I would highly recommend NOT taking it into deep water. Puddles are probably OK, but anything more will likely leak into motor cases causing rust and siezing up wheels. I'm now running in 2wd full time, I actually had to remove the motor from the front wheels. It still works, but not as waterproof as advertised. I was told by the company that they are coming out with an updated model to fix this issue. Still works, just not a 5 start product. Variable speed would be a great addition, this truck is all or nothing. ... show more
