This joist tape seemed to be of good quality. Thick and sticky. The only drawback was that the backing was a little harder to peel off than some I’ve used in the past, but that’s no big deal. This 4 roll package probably wasn’t much more than a single roll at a big box store. I was running short on the job and Amazon delivered it to me next day. We’re in a rural area and a trip to the store is a hour and half at least round trip. Great price and convenience. Can’t beat it!

Sticky and goes down easily. The tape is quite thin, which suits me because I was replacing only some of the deck boards so did not want a significant height difference. But a more expensive brand would be thicker and possibly more durable (I'm not too worried; once the boards are screwed down on top of the tape it should be okay).

I’ve been doing a lot of deck in front porch work the last year and have used a variety of brands of these. This one worked very well. The only complaint I have with all of them is, if you have the misfortune of the clear tape breaking it seems to do it repeatedly and it’s a real pain. I also recommend heating it up a little bit before you use it if you have the misfortune of using it in cold weather and it breaks its double trouble excellent protection for your new deck investment.

Great product! Easy to cut and apply. Very sticky but easy to pull off if you have to make any changes. It does tear easily if walked on but once the tape is covered with the decking, it should last a long time. Cheap price to pay to make the deck last longer. My framing and tape has been exposed to several rain showers and storms since application and it sheds water very well.
