I installed the Butt Buddy yesterday and so far it’s great. The heated seat is a nice upgrade over my old standard seat, as is the warm water. My only issue was that true system beeps whenever you sit down and stand up. This got irritating quickly. I went to the Butt Buddy website and sent them a message through their “contact us” section at about 5:00 yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, not expecting a response until early next week at the earliest. Imagine my surprise when I checked my email at 8:00 this morning (Sunday) to find that they had already responded (at 11:00 last night, actually). Here is their answer to turn off the beeping: To turn off the beeping sound please press and hold the toilet seat temperature control button on the left side of the bidet seat for 3 seconds and release. That should deactivate the beeping sounds going forward. To reactivate the beeping sound simply press and hold the toilet seat temperature control button once more for 3 seconds and release. ... show more

    • Simply Love My Butt Buddy Suite
I simply love my new Butt Buddy Suite smart bidet seat. This is my second bidet from the Butt Buddy brand, but this is my first full smart electric bidet. The first Butt Buddy bidet I purchased is great but more basic. The Suite model is a full toilet seat with lid that comes with a bunch of other cool amazing features. The knob and buttons for the water pressure, air dryer and temperature controls are very discreet and small. I don’t need to worry about them being in the way to potentially be hit or damaged. I love the that you have the ability to warm your toilet seat, water and air dryer. The warming feature comes in real handy during the colder winters times. There is the ability to change the water pressure from low to high as well as massaging if you'd like which is nice. It also comes with an LED toilet light that can help you locate your toilet in the dark which is neat. No more blinding full bathroom lights in the middle of the night! The Butt Buddy Suite bidet works great with no issues when not plugged into a power outlet, but the warming temperature controls and LED light features require it to be plugged into a grounded power outlet to work. One thing I didn’t know at first that I found out after using it a few times (and after reading the user manual) is that when you first turn on the spray to begin cleaning yourself you need to let the water run for a few seconds so it can filter the water as well as clean the nozzle before it will actually start spraying. You also need to be seated or else it will not spray which is a cool feature. We need to change the narrative about bidets, because everyone should experience a clean hiney after using the toilet. Especially us Americans. We're a bit late to the game, but its never too late! Every home and business should have a bidet installed in my opinion. ... show more

Couldn’t be happier with my decision to buy the Butt Buddy Suite bidet - it's hard to go back and use the toilet without it now! In the morning or in the middle of the night when it's cold, it’s very nice to sit on a warm toilet seat. When you turn on the water, it's not instantaneous - takes a few seconds to prep by clearing the nozzle spray and heat the water before it begins to spray, but totally worth the wait. After you finish washing it also has warm air dryer that will dry your hiney! The seat, water spray and air dryer all have the option of being heated but can also be turned off and remain cool if you want. I love that it also has a toilet bowl light that really comes in handy in the middle of the night when I need to go to the bathroom as it allows me to see without having to turn on the bathroom light and blinding myself. We have a regular Butt Buddy bidet attached to our toilet in another bathroom that only sprays out cold water, and we had been doing that for a few years - didn’t mind the cold water spray at all by the way. However, now that we know what warm water feels like on the backside after doing the do, it's impossible to go back. A grounded power outlet is needed near the toilet though (we had an electrician / handyman come by and add it which was cheap quick and easy). I highly recommend the Butt Buddy Suite to everyone. Very easy to install but does require a power outlet near the toilet to enable all the features of this seat. Many reviews and Q&A talks about using a hot water line for warm water. Only the cold-water line is required, and all connections are provided. Heats the seat and water (high and low settings) via electricity, has adjustable pressure (three settings) spray nozzle, and can turn light on or off. The blower is a little weak but works better the longer you sit. Easy to remove seat for cleaning. Definitely leaves you feeling fresher and cleaner than toilet paper. ... show more

    • Like a regular bidet but worse
Yes it has the warm water and seat function that you probably won't even use but mostly it is pretty subpar. The regular features that any bidet would have are there only worse. You have to wait several seconds for the spray to start once you turn it on and there is basically no control of the angle or water pressure, the knob doesn't actually do anything on that front. So, yes, you can warm the seat and water but the $30 one I had at my last residence was highly preferable to this one. Ultimately I won't return it, basically because I just don't want to uninstall and reinstall right now. But there is nothing that justifies the price point and I majorly regret this splurge. ... show more
