I bought it to bring on a cross-country domestic flight. I was a little nervous to get it through security because it kind of looks like a cartoon bomb, haha, but it was fine. Did get a few looks whenever I whipped it out, maybe of alarm, maybe because it’s cool, who knows. My child loves it, and it’s got enough fun, interactive pieces to it for you to play along with your child in pretend play, or racing each other switching things on and off, you know? It’s a good addition to whatever toy collection you got going on. It’s light, and relatively compact while being a decent size for a kid to hold. The color spectrum globe was nice, but it did start malfunctioning pretty fast (one of the switches for the colors had a hard time turning on). Never dropped it or anything so who knows, maybe just the luck of the draw but something to keep in mind. Overall liked it.
