Features

  • 5-30X56 CONFIGURATION & 34MM MAINTUBE - The Match Pro ED now has an expanded magnification range of 5-30x and has an oversized 56mm objective lens to gather large amounts of light and give the competitor a large eye box to quickly get a perfect sight picture. The 34mm main tube of the Match Pro ED expands the elevation to a large 30 MRAD of travel and the windage to 14.5 MRAD to get you out to the furthest targets.
  • ALL-NEW ILLUMINATED DEPLOY MIL 2 RETICLE - The Match Pro ED features an all-new DM2 reticle that's a 2/10 MRAD tree reticle, and it has illumination with 11 brightness settings and a battery-saver feature to shut off automatically after 6 hours of run time if the setting hasn't been adjusted. Other new reticle features include refined and staggered line weights, bisected hashes, terminated hold-under for clearer field of view, and milling section for fine target measurement.
  • BOLD TURRETS, ACCURATE TRACKING - The locking turrets on the Match Pro ED have big bold lettering so you can easily see the digits quickly. A positive grip on the turrets is now achieved with the raised and flared crown to eliminate losing grip under stress. The Match Pro is known for out-of-the-box tracking accuracy and reliability, and the Match Pro ED carries this forward.
  • IPX7 WATERPROOF & EXCLUSIVE EXO BARRIER - The Match Pro ED is IPX7 Waterproof and fogproof, and the precision ground ED Prime glass is topped with our exclusive EXO Barrier. You've seen what a ceramic coating can do for your vehicle, and EXO Barrier is like a ceramic coating for your glass except it's baked on in a vapor deposition chamber - and permanent. This means that when rain, snow, or dirt come into play, you'll be able to see when the competition can't.
  • EASY-SET ELEVATION ZERO STOP & REV-INDICATOR - Getting back to your zero is fast, reliable, and accurate now thanks to the Easy-Set zero stop on the Match Pro ED. Tracking the elevation knob revolution count is simple thanks to the visible and tactile Rev-Indicator that shows red on the second rotation, and stainless steel on the third - No more sending rounds over a target because you're on the wrong rotation.

  • Exceptional value for outstanding features.
I run a firearms training school in Los Angeles, CA. I put this on an inexpensive Savage AXIS II Precision long gun in .223 as part of an "inexpensive build" experiment for clients. This scope is an outstanding value. This scope has features you find on much more expensive scopes. It came unblemished, flawless in appearance and function. The twisting action of the ocular and the adjustment knobs are smooth. My only complaint is that Bushnell does not offer cover caps. You really have to shop around to find something that will work. In the end, because my clients are constantly adjusting the ocular I went with an inexpensive rubber strectch style cover that can be taken off each time. ... show more

  • Nice scope.
Great scope for the money.

  • A great scope
This is all it is advertised to be. It is a bit on the bulky side and unlike scopes that have an essentially universal focus, this requires an extra dial to adjust to your distance. Not a big deal and the result is still a crisp, bright image. Also, for hunting or target shooting, you are not constantly adjusting your distance anyway. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. ... show more

  • An excellent entry level scope
I saw and read many reviews on this scope prior to purchasing one. In the past I've purchased all Vortex Viper Gen 2 scopes. They are a good value. I wanted to try something new so now I own a bushnell. The Bushnell scopes has many good features and a few drawbacks. The locking turrets are a great feature for this scope's price. My Vortex scopes are about $200 more and don't have locking turrets. The audible clicks when setting elevation or windage are excellent. The turrets have very little slope but align well. The 34mm tube allows more light in than the 30mm tube on my Vortex scopes. The weight of the bushnell scope is around 32 ounces. This may be a drawback for NRL competition. I have two dislikes on this Bushnell Match Pro ED 5-30x56 scope. One, removing the battery cover is a pain. Bushnell should add a cover slot to allow removal of the cover with a coin. My other complaint is visibility through the scope past a magnification of 25. The scope visibility in my opinion gets milky and not as clear as visibility at a magnification of 1 to 25. Considering the price of this scope, it's a very good scope for PRS or long range shooting. If you want a scope better than the Bushnell Match Pro ED 5-30x56 scope, be prepared to spend a whole lot more than $700. I would recommend this scope to a friend. ... show more

  • Optics were very clear for the price point
$750+ and NO lens caps!! Missing magnification change “cat tail” on magnifying change ring Illumination turret cap very hard to remove to change battery since it is not slotted to accept a coin

  • Beautiful optics
Coming from a Vortex Viper PST II 1-6x, it’s impressive how much more magnification Bushnell provides for nearly the same price ($599vs$699 when on sale). The optics red illumination is impressive, it is very bright when needed. Zeroing is easier and more logical on this scope than others. The only two complaints I have is getting the battery door open was a chore. There really isn’t any decent included instruction manual either. The company seems to assume everyone will just figure it out, but I can assure you many newbies would likely get frustrated by the process. The battery door was on so tight I had to use a pair of pliers to force it open, with a microfiber wrapped around to prevent any paint chipping. The second and final complaint is the scope includes a plastic tool meant to help loosen the turrets etc, but my plastic tool simply broke when I tried to do so. I ended up having to use a coin which sadly marks the paint a bit. If you go to reviews on YT you’ll see many have the marks on the turrets. I’d like to see the groove be deeper to allow a plastic pick/pry tool to avoid paint damage. ... show more

  • The eye relief is a disaster
I've got a bushnell on my 7mm and it's been a great piece of glass. It's been on there for 20 years. My .338 lapua I sprung for an Athalon and it's also a great piece of glass, but it's pricey. I bought this for my .50bmg. The reviews seemed good, price was right and I've had great result out of my other bushnell. It's an absolute disaster!!! The eye relief rolls as you adjust the magnification, to the point I have to reacquire and adjust myself constantly to even get set to make a shot. I spend more time adjusting and getting frustrated with the eye relief. Confidence in shot placement goes down bc I'm fighting the glass. It's a POS. You can't relax to make a shot bc the eye relief changes and rolls. And you've got to be exactly so to have total sight thru it. It's an absolute turd bc of the eye relief. Everything else is spot on, but if the eye relief is a pain it's trash. No other way of saying it. ... show more
