I purchased the 2.5-10x44 version of this scope for my 10/22 after watching a few reviews on YouTube and I am absolutely impressed with the quality, durability, and price of this scope. I had a bushnell scope a few years ago that was very lacking in every way I.E. wouldn’t hold zero, collected very little light, and the turrets moved the crosshairs with almost zero consistency. I swore I would never buy another bushnell scope again, but against my judgment I did and I am so glad I went with it. Tracking is from what I’ve seen perfect, held zero with no problems, let’s in plenty of light, and has lots of higher end scope features like target style locking turrets, 30mm scope tube, and side paralex adjustment in a scope that only costs around 270 dollars! In comparison to my vortex diamondback tactical 4-16x44 it’s close but for the price and featuresI almost have to recommend this scope over the vortex (which is hard for me to say as a vortex fanboy) and very well may be switching over to bushnell if they can keep this quality and price point consistent. ... show more

I've always been a Leupold fan but was looking for an illuminated reticle. The Engage fit the bill. Clear glass. ILL is easy to use. I like that it comes with bushnell flip caps as most manufacturers no longer supply scope caps. The only issue I have was the packaging from Amazon.     • A yes and no rifle scope

The product was delivered promptly, actually ahead of schedule. Mounting was a breeze. Sighting in was a little more difficult. After mounting and leveling the scope, I took it to an indoor range, as it's cold in Minnesota in December. The furthest distance is 50 yards, so I was unable to check longer distances. The zero on the scope was off, but that could be because I mount a new scope every few years, and have to re-learn everything from scratch each time. I had trouble focusing the eyepiece, and at above 12x, the picture got blurry. This may or may not have been due to my eyes, but I found it disorienting. The crosshair disappeared into the target; an illuminated crosshair would be useful. Adjustments to elevation and drift were very positive. I was using this with a Savage Model 10 Stealth BA 223. Once I got a handle on where it was shooting, my shots grouped within 1 inch, but I expected better. Since both the rifle and scope were new, I can't say that they are to blame until I run a few more rounds through it. The price point was good, and will update this as I gain more experience with both the gun and the scope, and when it's warm enough to go to an outdoor 100 - 500 yard range. ... show more

Update: 11/12/2018 I received my replacement scope, and have put a few boxes of ammunition through it. This new unit is working as advertised, and I am very happy with this scope now. The price point can't be beat considering the options on this scope. As stated before I wanted a sub-divided reticle and parallax adjustment. Anywhere else the price would be near or above $1,000. I wish I didn't have the experience I got with the first scope, but the working unit is exactly what I expected, and I am very happy. I would probably buy another. I purchased this scope to replace another Bushnell scope that failed on me. I really liked the scope specs, and the price. I wanted a simple sub-divided reticle that wasn't tailored to a specific round or load, and this was it. Scope was clear, adjustments were positive and smooth. 7 shots into sighting in on a .243 (NOT a high powered rifle), the reticle fell out of alignment. VERY frustrating to say the least. Please note that I am getting a replacement, like for like, and I will give it another chance. There is a lifetime warranty on Bushnell scopes, but I am working through Amazon. From the little I used it, I'm sure I will enjoy a working variant of this particular scope, but the poor quality assurance letting a defective unit get out, and the frustration of having to send it back to get another make this a 1 star for me right now. ... show more

I am a 22lr plinker. This scope works great for that. I was able to dial my 1022 so my children could hit a gong consistently at 100 yards. My first scope had the reticle rotate after 50 weeks. I sent it back under warrantee and they quickly send me a new one. The optics are fine. However, under low light conditions the reticle is very difficult to see. If I had to do it over again, I’d get an illuminated reticle. Because I’m old, the second focal plane reticle is just fine. ... show more

When this arrived it was looking good!! I mounted this on a Savage 110FP 308 and went to the range. This scope was quite good , zero ed at 100 yards and was accurate out to the 300 yards I shot that day. Based on that days shooting wound on the next trip to the 600 yard range that the reticle will be good out to this was a pleasure to use and held zero and zeroed quickly.
