  • Full Featured, Versatile, Quality Scope. Very easy choice.
Size: 6-24x50mm Style Name: Non-Illuminated
I have two of these now (3-12x42, 6-24x50) and going for a third. Other scopes I use are SWFA and Leupold. The Bushnell Engage series is in my opinion an easy choice. They are full featured with easy to use accurate turrets that lock, unlock and reset zero with ease, track smoothly, accurately and repeatably, all of which is a big deal and a sure sign of reliability and quality manufacturing. The reticle is great; fine, clear, simple and sensibly graduated. It can be used for precision targets, plinking or hunting, which is also a big deal. Because the Deploy MOA reticle is fine enough for precision shooting, it will naturally be harder to detect in very low light or busy/dark background hunting situations, but not much more so than the standard hunting crosshairs, for which you probably need illumination anyway in these cases. That is a no brainer trade off for a scope with the capabilities that this one has and should not be a concern unless you need a dedicated hunting scope, in which case a dedicated hunting reticle is probably a better scope for the purpose. Side focus is accurately calibrated, convenient and easy to use. Once you have it, it will probably become a must for future purchases. The glass, which for rifle scopes is the most subjective and most picked over review category there is, is just fine. It is not as bright as a NightForce, but I for one have never had a shooting solution that actually required that kind of $2500 clarity either. You can see clearly what you are looking at with this scope. It is every bit as good as anything in its' price range, and also as good or better as the $6-700 Vortexes that I have seen and used. Adjustments are quick and easy. It is a very convenient scope to use. These scopes seem to me to be the result of progressive development at Bushnell, from the Nitro, thru the Elite to the Engage. the Engage seems to me to be an Elite model scope with upgraded turrets. To me this is another indicator of improved results in a proven design, which is a big plus as well. Bottom line: The Bushnell Engage series is a high quality, reliable, very well priced scope line that is full featured, versatile and an easy choice against anything under $1000-$1200. ... show more

  • Excellent scope for the price
Size: 2.5-10x44mm Style Name: Non-Illuminated
I send back a Burris HD and went with the Bushnell. Great eye relief, clear sight picture, and very well made. Great value for the money.

  • Genuinely Impressed
Size: 3-9x40mm Style Name: Illuminated
Engage model - 3x9x40 with illuminated reticule. My last scope set me back over $1200 and it's very good. I bought this scope on a whim for $200 on offer. I'm genuinely impressed with the quality so far. The image really is nice and clear. The positive clicks on the turrets are nice and crisp. The zoom ring turns nicely with just the right amount thumb and finger pressure, same with the ocular focus ring. The illuminated centre dot is a nice touch with 6 levels of brightness and an off setting between each. Its probably not bright enough to see in direct sunlight, but in the woods, under the tree canopy, especially early morning and late afteroon, I should think it's very effective. The duplex reticle posts are just the right thickness and the centre illumination dot makes an excellent, very fine aim point even when not illuminated. Overall, I'm very impressed so far. Is it as good as my $1200 scope? No it's not. Is my $1200 scope worth the extra $1000? Honestly, No, it's probably not. ... show more

  • Parallax adjustment makes this scope
Size: 6-18x50mm Style Name: Non-Illuminated
Reticle doesn't cover the target up such as 1' Spinners out to 120 yrds this is a Huge +! that's where the second focal plane comes into play! Very pleased with both.. The "parallax" is a must have option. clear all the way through" Have on on a CZ 452 lr. & a CZ 457 Varmint pro. Nice & Bright Scopes i`m pretty picky but' both have had no problem holding zereo.. set to 50 yrds dead center & can shoot off the hash marks from there,, I don't ever shoot past 120 yrds ,, ... show more

  • Bushnell might become my new go to
Size: 2.5-10x44mm Style Name: Non-Illuminated
I purchased the 2.5-10x44 version of this scope for my 10/22 after watching a few reviews on YouTube and I am absolutely impressed with the quality, durability, and price of this scope. I had a bushnell scope a few years ago that was very lacking in every way I.E. wouldn’t hold zero, collected very little light, and the turrets moved the crosshairs with almost zero consistency. I swore I would never buy another bushnell scope again, but against my judgment I did and I am so glad I went with it. Tracking is from what I’ve seen perfect, held zero with no problems, let’s in plenty of light, and has lots of higher end scope features like target style locking turrets, 30mm scope tube, and side paralex adjustment in a scope that only costs around 270 dollars! In comparison to my vortex diamondback tactical 4-16x44 it’s close but for the price and featuresI almost have to recommend this scope over the vortex (which is hard for me to say as a vortex fanboy) and very well may be switching over to bushnell if they can keep this quality and price point consistent. ... show more

  • Very Disappointing
Size: 3-9x40mm Style Name: Illuminated
I installed this scope on a new rifle chambered in 6.5 Grendel with a muzzle brake, not a hard kicker. the rifle was sighted in using another scope and getting nice tight groups. I installed the new Bushnell scope and with the same barrel and ammo the groups started to open up. I took the gun home and made sure the base and rings were tight and hadn't loosened up. They had not. I went to the range this evening and the scope was still shooting wild groups. I swapped out the scope with another scope at the range and the groups shrank back down to acceptable size. When the scope was off, I shook it and could hear something rattling around inside. I went on to Amazon tonight for a return & found that I am 5 days past the return timeline. Now I must deal with Bushnell on a warranty and I do not want a replacement scope, I wan t refund to buy a Leopold or Trijicon scope. Wasted time traveling to the range, range fees, wasted ammo and I have a hunt coming up at the end of September. Just Awesome. ... show more
