I love this desk! It's strong and looks good. There was some minor chipping which I show in the pictures but hey nothing perfect and I can hide it well with some touch ups. I built it entirely on my own which I'd say is okay if you're determined but you definitely want someone to help you flip it over - not be cause you can't, but because you would risk damaging the desk. It's very very heavy. Instructions were clear. Assembly was simple. I don't recommend using powerful tools on the screws, this desk is strong but it's still compressed wood. Last thing you need is to screw something in to much and crack it. Then you might be here writing a one star review when it folds in on itself. For my gals: I attached eyelet lace trim underneath to make it a little more cozy, there are plenty of options to find on Amazon if you would like to do the same. We purchased this L-shaped desk, a writing desk, and a filing cabinet for a small home office. It was great to be able to get matching sets to achieve a cohesive look in the limited space. All of the pieces are well-made, sturdy, durable, and look really nice. This purchase was made before I knew I would be starting a new career where I work remotely 95 percent of the time. This furniture withstands daily use of over eight hours and is comfortable to sit at. The L-shaped desk accommodates three large monitors, a small monitor, two laptops, a desk light, a label printer, two keyboards, and two mice, while still leaving room for some paperwork. The filing cabinet is spacious, providing space for a large multi-function printer with additional room left over. We are very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The writing desk is easy to assemble and can be put together by one person, while the L-shaped desk and filing cabinet are best assembled with two people. The instructions for the L-shaped desk were somewhat confusing, requiring careful attention to the details in order to ensure the pieces face correctly. So, allow yourself plenty of time for the L-shaped desk assembly if you decide to purchase it. Ok so to be completely honest I was a little hesitant of the quality of what we would receive because the price was low. I do have to openly state that the box came busted open on the side (no fault of shipper, nor company) it was just a heavy box (70lbs) and UPS I guess just had a hard time managing getting it here without the sides popping open. I was scared that pieces might had been lost, however on top of the box is a costumer service number with people working until 730 at night, and in the instruction manual there is a number basically on every page saying if you need a part just reach out. Back to product, I would say easy of putting together was 3 out of 5 as it would have been easier with a second person, as a one man show setting this up for my girlfriend that is about to move it, it was a TINY bit difficult at times. Things I would like to stress, is there are a few parts that need to be screwed in, I would suggest an electric drill set low as not to tear up the particle board. As far as the actual desk goes, WOW. I am impressed at their attention to detail. They REALLY thought this desk out as far as design goes. Everything flush mounts like it was meant to be and they include little white "push plugs" that go on top of any "silver" piece that could be seen from the outside. The best part of it is it REALLY looks like wood, the finish is wonderful, and lastly, the ends of the desk have these wood pieces that attach in a different direction so that it really gives it a "solid desk" appearance. HIGHLY suggest! It's gorgeous and very sturdy. Hope this helps the next person that might be on the fence about this purchase. ... show more

I recently purchased the Bush Furniture Key West L Shaped Desk for my home office, and overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase. Here are my thoughts: Color and Appearance: The color of the desk leans more towards beige rather than grey, which was a bit of a surprise initially. However, the beige hue actually complements my room decor quite nicely and adds a warm, inviting touch to my workspace. Size and Functionality: The size of the desk is fantastic. At 60 inches, it provides ample space for my computer, office supplies, and a few decorative items without feeling cluttered. The L shape is particularly useful, giving me an additional work surface that I often use for spreading out documents or setting up another monitor. Stability: One issue I've encountered is that the desk isn't completely straight due to the uneven carpet flooring in my room. This has caused a slight wobble, which can be a bit annoying at times.
