GREAT!
Color: Espresso Oak
I was in need of a large at-home desk that would serve well for holding a computer and doing basic paperwork with and this desk has been wonderful. I highly recommend this to desk buyers. This is a beautiful desk and it is a very reasonable price compared to many competitors out there. It is not cheap composite board like most desks (although it is a form of a really hard durable composite board). It is heavy duty and very durable (can hold 200 lbs. on the desk surface)!!! The desk takes a long time to put together though and if you buy the hutch then it comes in a separate package, and the desk itself also comes in two separate packages. This confused me and I actually called the company to make sure of this. I have had mine for three months and I am very pleased with it. It is very classy and is a nice touch to any home office! It is rather large though and wieghts A LOT so it may take more than one person to lift and put together. I love it though and it suits all my purposes. The desk charger is also extremely helpful and the USB hub in the desk serves its purpose well!!! Great product and well worth EVERY penny!!! ... show more

Great desk, awful instructions.
Color: Espresso Oak
I purchased this item about a week or two back, so I've had a bit of time to use it a little inbetween work. I'll start with the biggest part; assembly. It's a huge huge pain, and the biggest problem tends to be the instructions. While the pictures aren't hard to see, and the quality of the pictures is fine, at times it's hard to tell what direction a piece goes or how it should go. The directions rarely have any written parts to describe how to assemble a certain section, and you're left to just go over the picture multiple times and make sure it looks the same as you're going along. Assembly for the desk took about a full day. I put the desk together myself, with no assistance from another person. The only part I needed help with was moving the desk in place. It's very awkward to move due to the L shape, and a little heavy. The hutch I actually had more trouble putting together than the desk. The pictures threw me off much more often than the desk did, and I had to unscrew parts at time and flip them around. The hutch is actually quite heavy, but is very sturdy once assembled. The hutch assembly took an entire day as well, I probably took more time with it due to just putting together the desk. and being off work that day, but it would take a few hours to put together regardless. During the end of the assembly I had help putting the hutch on the desk, and screwwing it in. It's just about the only part of assembly in which you will require some help. The desk looks great once it's completely assembled with the hutch on top. Holds a lot of stuff on the hutch, with some extra space to spare. Nothing about the desk felt cheap to me, only thing I couldn't stand were the awful directions which gave me a headache(literally). It's a lot bigger than I expected, but it fit in the room just fine. Just make sure if you have a smaller room, to do some measurements beforehand. All in all I'd recommend this to anyone who has the space, and time(not to mention patience) for the desk. ... show more

Good balance between quality and cost.
Color: Heather Gray
Summary: Like many, I found it difficult to work productively off of my dining room table during quarantine and thus decided to purchase this desk to more closely replicate my office setup at home. Overall I feel this desk meets or exceeds my requirements and would recommend it to those in a similar situation. The Good: This desk has a nice large worktop with a layout that keeps everything easily accessible. This was particularly important to me as I am used to a larger L Desk setup at the office. The finish feels smooth and comfortable and the fluted glass on the drawer and hutch is a nice touch. This desk strikes a nice balance between utility, appearance, and affordability. The build: This desk is composed of CFB similar to other items in this price range however all the components feel very sturdy with the exception of the very thin drawer bottoms which likely cannot hold much weight. For the most part all the holes lined up nicely and the build was fairly straightforward however it did take me and my girlfriend about 3.5hours to compete the build so definitely set some time aside for this. As an aside I would imagine building this desk by yourself would be nearly impossible. The bad: this desk is definitely laid out with desktop PCs in mind and while that’s not inherently a bad thing I found the largest drawer and USB pass through were underutilized for me as I work off of a docked laptop. I’m considering adding shelves inside the large drawer to make the space more usable. While the desk components feel sturdy the vinyl skin on the outside is quite delicate. Within the first week I noticed some small scuffs and dings on the sides from my chair, all this damage is purely cosmetic but I have a feeling the “new desk” appearance will fade quickly. ... show more

A really nice computer desk-hutch combination.
Color: Heather Gray
At first I was reluctant to order something of the size and cost online, but I purchased it anyway. Turns out it was a very good decision. It isn't the easiest thing to assemble. Fortunately I could afford a 'handyman' who took most of a day to put it together. Now for the good stuff! It far exceeds my expectations. Who ever designed it knew what they were doing. There are simple things like having four USB ports and a hole for cables built into the desktop. The desk is attractive and sturdy. The hutch can be installed either to the right or left as you wish. There is substantial storage. There are six larger storage areas + five 'cubbies' perfect for those little things you just don't know where to store them. I've used one for my mouse, TV remotes, and headphones. If you are looking for a good computer desk + hutch, while a bit of a pain to assemble, you should give this one a serious look. ... show more
