I should have read reviews before purchasing. I got the darkest bronzer and it’s very sheer. It’s more like a gold highlight stick than a bronzer. Either way it’s pretty but just not a bronzer. I agree with everyone saying it's sheer - it's SHEER. Hardly any pigment and not really buildable. But it's very pleasant and subtle as a highlighter or blush base. So I'll use it, but not what it was intended for. The video shows that it is kind of sheer so I didn't expect a lot of pigment, but it didn't show the product as truly sheer as it is. Three stars for the misrepresentation; I'd give it four stars if it were touted as a highlighter instead. ... show more

It’s a very gold, not bronze, color and greasy when applied. The product is sheer, maybe would work as a lip balm but unfortunately not as a bronzer. Packaging was secure and sanitary.

    • Highlighters or Lip Balm for your Face?

I really wanted to love these highlighters especially since it’s difficult to find highlighters with subtle non glittery effects. Unfortunately the pigmentation was almost non existent. It was more like rubbing a tinted lip balm on your face which left me looking more greasy than subtlety highlit. When applying over my foundation, it slid my foundation around as well and did not stick. Very disappointing product all around. If you are looking for a subtle highlighter, I STRONGLY recommend Essence Pure Nude Highlighter. It runs about $4-5 and performs like a high end product. Look at the various reviews and YouTube videos - the ladies are not lying! For reference my complexion is caramel and had no problem with the Burt’s shades (I purchased all 3) but again they are very transparent and Vaseline’ish. ... show more

Excellent product! Tried for the first time and plan to purchase again. This is a very pale golden shade... makes me think of being kissed by the summer sun. Used it with a light golden lipstick for the season. Arrived promptly and was well packaged.
