    • Sheer lipstick
I bought the Doused Rose and Crimson Coast shades. I'm light skinned and Doused Rose is just slightly darker and more pink than my natural lip color. It looks lovely and actually is quite moisturizing for a lipstick. I'd recommend it as a nude/every day lip color. Crimson Coast is a dark shade of red that I think would look good on a variety of skin tones. It's more sheer than I anticipated though, and hard to get even coverage. I actually bought these because of a Burt’s Bees video advertisement which made Crimson Coast look a lot more matte than it really is. Not really what I was looking for but I still like it. It comes off easily on drinks, definitely will need to reapply often through the day. I've read that they can get gritty and lumpy, but as I just received them today I haven't noticed it yet. For the price (especially on Amazon rather than in store) they're great lipsticks. As far as packaging goes, I think it's a bit too long and thin which makes it easier to break and delicate. The red lipstick is already moving around inside its tube and pushing up on the sides of the packaging getting dented. Something to be improved on in the future. ... show more

    • Doused Rose is peachy rather than the pink rosy color pictured. Disappointed.
I purchased Doused Rose, expecting a rosy pink shade as pictured. Instead the color is a much lighter peachy color. Disappointed.

    • Smooth, long lasting and moistuizing
I really love Burt's Bees products and this lipstick is up there with their other great products. Pretty color, long lasting, smooth and silky, and very attractive. I went back and bought 3 more different colors. I love them... they are all so natural and good looking. The colors look and feel like what you would expect from expensive lipstick... only they are a quarter of the price. NICE! ... show more

    • Moisturizing, but looks like my own lip Color
I’m a fan of birds bees products, and I usually use their tinted lip balm. But it doesn’t last very long. This is a very nice product, and it does last longer. But the color I chose, Dusted Rose, is very similar to my own lips and looks like I’m not wearing lipstick. Otherwise, I like the product.
