So hard to tell when buying on line what the color really will look like but I am pretty happy with this one. It is on the medium pink side and has no sparkle which is what I wanted. I do add a tad bit of lip shne over it but it is a very attractive medium pink tone that give life to your face and seems natural yet gives you that little extra color. I have been using lots of lip balms and decided to try a lipstick and BBs is highly recommend as a natural, non toxic, clean one and so I am going to stick with their brand since I am leaning towards healthier alternatives these days, especially something you put on your lips. THe only minus is figuring out what the color will be when you buy it on line.

Like a tinted lip balm.

If you're someone that's looking for a moisturizing lipstick, that's more of lip balm then this product is good for you. It's not as opaque as a lot of other lipsticks so if you want the color to show you have to layer it more. But if you're fine with a more natural looking finish that doesn't feel dry or sticky this is the right product for you.

Sheer lipstick

I bought the Doused Rose and Crimson Coast shades. I'm light skinned and Doused Rose is just slightly darker and more pink than my natural lip color. It looks lovely and actually is quite moisturizing for a lipstick. I'd recommend it as a nude/every day lip color. Crimson Coast is a dark shade of red that I think would look good on a variety of skin tones. It's more sheer than I anticipated though, and hard to get even coverage. I actually bought these because of a Burt’s Bees video advertisement which made Crimson Coast look a lot more matte than it really is. Not really what I was looking for but I still like it. It comes off easily on drinks, definitely will need to reapply often through the day. I've read that they can get gritty and lumpy, but as I just received them today I haven't noticed it yet. For the price (especially on Amazon rather than in store) they're great lipsticks. As far as packaging goes, I think it's a bit too long and thin which makes it easier to break and delicate. The red lipstick is already moving around inside its tube and pushing up on the sides of the packaging getting dented. Something to be improved on in the future.

Great lip balm

Love Burts Bees as I am confident I'm getting natural product. This lip balm stays on pretty well through the day. It doesn't last like maybelline colorstay but it keeps my lips more hydrated.

I really love Burt's Bees products and this lipstick is up there with their other great products. Pretty color, long lasting, smooth and silky, and very attractive. I went back and bought 3 more different colors. I love them... they are all so natural and good looking. The colors look and feel like what you would expect from expensive lipstick... only they are a quarter of the price. NICE!

This color looks a bit pinker than I thought, the picture looked more mauve to me. However, when I used it I loved how it looked, and am glad it turned out this way. Will reorder the same color when I need to. It is smooth and easy to apply, very pleased.

Garbage

The color is very cute but that's the only thing I liked about it...it said it was prime but took 19 days to get. when it finally arrived I opened the package and put 1 gentle swipe on my lips, I immediately noticed the texture was awfel I looked at the lipstick and noticed it had in 1 swipe turned from smooth amd creamy to bumpy and gritty. This is clearly an old tube of lipstick I recall the same issue happening when Burt's Bees first released their lip line but since then they've updated their formula and I haven't noticed this so this has to be old stock. I am very disappointed and would not recommend!
