Loose-fitting for layering, with plenty of pockets so you never need to visit the lodge, the Burton Cargo Pant is a tried-and-true classic shell pant, ready for any weather. Available in two different fits, choose Burton's classic Sig Fit (seen here) or the team-favorite and more modern Mid Fit which offers a slightly more tailored and less baggy look. Like all Burton pants, it's stacked with standard features, including venting options for hiking, reinforced cuffs that can be elevated above mud, tweak-friendly articulated knees and an audio port in the pocket so you can still listen to music when wearing just a hoodie. I think they'd probably stay up without a belt, if I wear them over expedition-wt base layer with expedition-wt base layer top tucked in, which was what I was wearing when the package arrived. Correction. On top, I've got a merino wool lightweight base layer underneath heavyweight layer up top. Anyone with a 35- or 36-inch waist, I'd recommend you go up to a large, if you layer up at all. If you want to pull them on and off over blue jeans, which I don't recommend, go a size up. These are pants. Not just over-pants. You can wear them over a good base layer, and be comfortable on the slopes and in the lodge, without a costume change. And your keys and money will still be in your zippered front pockets at the end of the day, no matter how many spills you take. I'm lounging in them, now, and can tell they are quite warm, but not uncomfortably warm at about 55 degrees, Fahrenheit. or about 15 Celsius. Seems like a high-quality product. Sorry I haven't tested 'em, yet. Will update if they suck. Otherwise, it all good. That said, nice pants. Should hold up skiing, and they do indeed have nice cargo pockets. Handwarmer pockets are fleece-lined. No idea how that'll stand up to wet, abraded hands over the long haul, but I'm usually pretty skeptical. But should be nice and warm while they last, depending on how much I beat up my hands when I'm usin' 'em.

Love these pants. Was afraid they would be to baggy or too slim fitting but they were just right! Iโm 5โ10, 215lbs, usually where 38โ/32โ jeans and I ordered the XL. Waist is adjustable and has belt loops if needed but I actually like suspenders to ensure my snowboard pants never sag The length is just right, just like most snowboard pants they have good length to compensate for ski or snowboard boots and bindings but arenโt overly long. Iโd bet if your 6โ or a hair over these would still fit fine. I usually where under armor base layer under and I never get cold or even chilly. Iโm really betting I could even shed the base layer and be fine. The materiel is exactly what I expect from Burton and have never been disappointed. I have 2 other pairs of Burton cargo snowboard pants that Iโve had for about 10 years, still look great, and no fading or shredding. I havenโt even had to spray them with waterproof spray. I expect these will be the same. I only purchased these since I wanted another color since I just got a new jacket for Christmas.

You shop for ski/snowboard pants and you see outrageous prices in ski shops. To find a $170 pant for just $125 (as of Feb 09, 2020) that has so many great features and uses first-rate materials is a real bargain. I bought a pair of North Face pants for $160 that were average at best and returned them and kept the Burton's. Very happy with these pants. I'm 5'8", 180 lbs, 30" inseam, 34" waist and bought the Large (Regular) and they're a good fit for me. I like my belt-line to ride kinda low. Where The North Face pants belt-line was up around my navel (or if I put the belt-line where I like it the crotch hung way too low), the crotch to belt-line of these Burton's is much less and fits me a lot better. The Royal Blue is just a little on the purple side, but the overall color is bright and vibrant. Great pants.

I wish these boarding pants had fit my 17 year old son, who is 6"1' and about 150 lbs. I ordered a medium in these pants. He is long-waisted and fit, so while the length of these was fine, the waist was much too big even using the velcro size adjusters on the waistband. I think they would be fine for someone with even a 'normal' men's waist size b/c my son's waist is really really flat. A size small is too short (we tried them on in a store) so I would recommend these if your sizing is regularly a medium. They are as described and would be perfect for a boarder-- heavy but not too heavy, and pockets where you want them. A bummer to have to return them!

They arrived on time. Love these snowboarding pants so much, bought 2 colors. Even though they are not insulated, they are very comfortable in the snow. I recommend wearing a layer underneath though. They have plenty of Secured zipper pockets for all your storage needs. One of my favorite features is the clip for your car keys inside the right pocket. The zipper vents Are excellent for warmer days. The drawstrings at the bottom of the legs helps keep your pant legs from dragging on the floor. All around the perfect snowboarding pants with plenty of awesome features.

I do a lot of winter hiking, living in Estes Park Colorado. These pants exceeded my expectations, Built-in Gator hooks perfectly to my Korker boots. The ventilation is exactly what I was looking for, for those sunny days that may start out Sub-Zero but then the temperature climbs. As a professional photographer I sometimes sit or lie down in the snow to get the shot, these pants have kept me completely dry.

I'm a bit torn on these pants. I love the construction, they're tough, relatively light and vent well. But they run very large. I wear a 32/32 jean normally and got am M. They still need a belt and the legs are VERY long, even for snowboard pants. Impossible to wear with regular shoes even if you hitch them way up grandpa style. The other big problem with them is that if it's at all wet conditions your butt is gonna get SOAKED. These do not repel water well. Not that huge a deal for me as a local, I'll just wear them on dry days. But if you're looking to have a 'one pair' for occasional trips to the mountain look elsewhere.

Good pants for the price..heavy duty fabric helps with warmth as it's technically a shell..I knew ahead they were "snowboard" pants..that means no inner cuff heavy duty patch for edge cuts...added suspenders for performance fit. Used down to 5ยฐf.....white=classy;)
