BUY THESE ASAP if you have wide feet and/or a longer second toe! I rarely write reviews but when I do it’s because I want the whole world to know how amazing these shoes have been. I’ve been a personal trainer for over a decade now and I’m a big promoter of foot health. Due to wearing Nike’s and narrow shoes for so long, I developed painful bunions. The ONLY shoe I could wear that didn’t cause pain are barefoot shoes. I’ve tried VivoBarefoot (expensive) which is good quality but most of their shoes are too “flat” at the toe area and it rubs against the “toe knuckles” which cause irritation and callus if worn often. These shoes I bought that were incredibly affordable have been the best BY FAR and I’ve tried tons of barefoot shoe brands. My feet have never been more comfortable. I love that the PU leather is easy to clean off and since I’m clumsy it’s definitely a huge plus haha. I got the black pair in 9.5 (my true size) and although it does look large when I pulled it out of the box, because of my longer second toe, it was actually perfect in size. Usually it rubs against the shoe and its annoying but not with these shoes! Quality is great—not a single stitch out of place. The soles don’t move like other barefoot shoes that literally slide down every step and then it’s awkward to adjust all the time. I can’t find a single con about these shoes and I’ve been wearing them every day and it still looks great! If you’re in between sizes, go smaller. But if you have a stupid weird longer second toe like me, aim for true to size. Buy them asap! You won’t regret it. ... show more

Hobibear are my favorite zero-rise shoes. I have almost every color of this shoe and people always complement them. I haven't washed this pair but I've washed all of the cloth pairs and they look brand new when they come out of the dryer! They are super durable and comfortable as a house shoe.

These shoes are comfortable enough with thick socks, but if you're on your feet for a long time, lack of cushioning can get uncomfortable. No arch support for those who need it. Good fit and toe-box room. Overall, I like them. Customers at the farmers' markets comment on them--"nice", "cute".

I’m a big fan of HobiBear and have several of their barefoot-style shoes, so I was excited to try these as a dress or business-casual option for the office. As expected, they were very comfortable right out of the box. The barefoot design, wide toe box, and lightweight feel are exactly what I’ve come to expect from the brand, and they were easy to wear throughout the day. The reason I’m giving them a lower rating than some of my other HobiBear purchases is the appearance. While the product photos made them seem like they could work in a business-casual environment, they looked much more casual in person than I expected. For my office setting, they just didn’t have the polished look I was hoping for. If you’re looking for a comfortable casual shoe with a dressier style, these may work well for you. However, if your goal is a true business-casual or office dress shoe, you may find them a bit too casual, as I did. Just wore them today for the first time for a morning gym session and then out for coffee with friends. No pinching, toe compression, or any other foot issues. As I have aged my toes seem to need more room and my heels need less! Many shoes that fit the wide part of my foot, fall off at the heel. Not these! I ordered my regular size 8 and they fit perfectly. No heel slipping or toe squeezing.. just great fit all around. I ordered them in white and will probably go back for another color. ... show more

I think if you want zero drop, wide-toe sneakers, you'll be happy with these. Personally, I found the toe too wide for my narrow feet (they looked like duck shoes on me). I also realized I like arch support so barefoot is just not for me. But the shoes themselves seemed nice enough and like they could be easy to slip on, if that's your thing.
