Description

The life of a mitt is not easy. More than any other part of your riding kit, mitts have the most contact with the elements. With that in mind, pros choose the bestselling Burton GORE-TEX Mitt + Gore warm technology. DRYRIDE 2L fabric, and a GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY GORE-TEX membrane protect this Thermacore insulated mitt from downright rugged winter conditions. The Screen Grab synthetic leather palm gives you stealth touchscreen control using tech that will never fray, wear out, or wash off. A removable four-way stretch fleece liner dries quickly and gives you options for any weather. Wear just the liner when shoveling, just the shell in sloppy spring conditions, or combine the two for total midwinter warmth and comfort.

  • good quality and true to size/fit
Color: Bog Heather New Size: Medium
Got a great deal. I've long had a pair of Burton gloves that been great, but my fingers get cold being separated like that. Mittens to the rescue!! Winter hasn't set in yet, so they havent gotten the full test, but the quality is there and so far they've worked great in the low 40's, my fingers stay warm. Only downside is the color I was able to get when they were on sale, they kinda clash with everything I own, but correct fit was more important. No regrets. Touchscreen use is a little finicky, but that is probably due to the case/screen protector I have in combination with the gloves. ... show more

  • Great pair of ski gloves!
Color: True Black Size: Medium
Love these! I was in need of new gloves for downhill skiing, and these are perfect. The liner is enough to keep your hands warm while you're prepping and fiddling with buckles and whatnot, and since it's a glove, you've got plenty of dexterity for fastening/unfastening things. As an added bonus, the rubber grippy parts on the palm side of the glove make it super easy to push a wheelchair; my hands were not sliding all over the pushrims trying to go somewhere while wearing the gloves. The mittens are really warm and kept my hands nice and dry even in some really wet snow that soaked my jacket. They're easy to get on over the liners, and then you can tighten them at the wrist with the buckle/strap there; no snow down your gloves even if you fall a lot! They also have elastic loops that go around your wrists, so you can take the mitten off but it'll stay on you if you are using the elastic loops. I found those difficult to use, because it was hard to get them on and tightened using just one hand, but that might just be a dexterity issue specific to me. I did stick my hand through them, but they weren't tight enough to hold my mitten on if I took it off. That would be easily solved by asking for help, which clearly I did not. These mittens also have the zipper pouch on the back where you can stick a little hand warmer. I never actually tried this feature because the gloves themselves kept my hands warm enough, plus we had a relatively mild winter and it wasn't super cold. I'm glad to have those though, because I'm sure at some point that it'll get cold enough that I'll need the extra heat! No real complaints at all. The elastic loops to keep the mittens hanging on your wrist were my only real issue, but since that would be fixable if I stopped being stubborn and just asked for help tightening them, I don't think I can legitimately count that as a con. They held up well despite my many falls, and being used with adaptive ski equipment (monoski and outriggers). I'd definitely recommend these - the pricing is good for the features that you get, they're warm, they keep your hands dry, and the quality seems really good so far (after using them one season). ... show more

  • Very warm!
Color: True Black New Size: X-Large
These mittens are very warm and the liners are a big part of that. I've had them on the mountain for 10 days now and my only concern at this point is that I don't think they're going to last another 10 days. They're showing significant wear from getting in and out of my snowboard. I'm going to spend the next 5 days on skis so that should slow the decline. Other than that, the gloves are very warm. The liner inside of the glove goes a long way and keeping your hands warm. ... show more

  • solid
Color: Bog Heather New Size: Medium
These are solid mittens. I use other light gloves instead of the liners that came with them for improved insulation. At low temperatures (~0 F) my hands get cold if I'm holding something like a dog leash or shovel, but otherwise they do the job just fine. Super waterproof outer shell - you could probably wear wool mitts or gloves inside them for extreme cold as well. ... show more

  • Warm mittens
Color: True Black New Size: X-Large
The o ly thig I didn't like was that liner gloves felt like a size small at wrist opening. Tore stitching apart after removing from hand, otherwise a really nice set of mittens.

  • Better Than Expected
Color: True Black New Size: X-Large
I bought these in extra large primarily to fit over battery-operated glove liners that I invested in because I suffer from Raynaud's Disease of my hands. When they arrived, they seemed well made enough but not as thick and cushiony as I thought they should be for the temperatures I was going to be wearing them in. But I was wrong--they are exceptionally warm and on days ranging from 25 to 40 degrees, I wear them without the electric glove liners and they keep my hands toasty. Over the liners, my hands have actually gotten TOO warm even though I was walking in near zero weather. They are a bit stiff and being mittens don't allow you the dexterity of gloves. But all in all I'm quite pleased. ... show more

  • Love, love, love these mittens. A must for anybody and everybody!
Color: True Black Size: Medium
I absolutely love these mittens. I feel like a cat. Kidding. Compared to my previous gloves from Serius, these are so much better for less than what I paid for my previous pair of gloves. These are so cool. You can adjust the tension around your wrist with the cinch strap and also the tension around your jacket with the drawstring at the ends of the mittens. There's a zipper in the front portion that you can open up and insert a heat pad if necessary and I opened it up to see if it made a difference with ventilation but I didn't notice a difference. They definitely kept my hands warm with and without the liners. They stayed dried no matter how many times I scraped snow off my board and boots. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I loved them so much, that I bought a pair for my younger brother who had purchased some sick looking gloves from Burton. Sadly they were drenched after a few spills and his hands were wet and frozen for the remainder of the day but he didn't mention it to me until the very end so I felt so bad that I gave him mine to use since I couldn't bear to see him suffer. Poor kid. ... show more
