DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!! This was a replacement [the 1st Bunn we received leaked water the 1st time we used it so we sent it back to Amazon] coffee maker for a very small church (We used coffee maker a couple times a week to make 1-2 pots at a time). WE HAD THIS REPLACEMENT 8 1/2 WEEKS. Tonight we had a dinner for 100 people and this replacement spewed extremely hot water through the seams and extreme steam out the water intake after making 3 pots of coffee. We unplugged the machine and let it cooled down and we tried to make more coffee but was unable to because the metal top and front became extremely hot and spewed hot water and steam out again so we think it has a bad thermostat and can't regulate making more than 2-3 pots of coffee at a time even though we waited 20 minutes between each pot. HOWEVER, because Amazon's return policy being only 30 days, we now have to contact the manufacture for help. . Very disappointed!! ... show more

Loved this Bunn 3 brewer for home, last one lasted 15 years, this one lasted 9 MONTHS! Just blew the circuit breaker, now afraid to use it. Warranty here on Amazon is what, 6 months even to get ''product support''. Will not buy something like this ever on Amazon again. Afraid of leaving plugged in and causing a fire. IMO really bad warranty service here. ... show more

    • This Coffee Brewer will burn down your building
This machine has no off switch. after you brew coffee it continues to boil the water in the tank which will result in steam and hot water spilling everywhere. The only way to turn it off is to unplug the machine if you do so the hot plates that are supposed to keep the coffee warm will lose power and stop working so what's the point. I brewed the first pot and went back after 10 minutes and there was steam coming out from everywhere and the unmistakable loud noise of over boiling water coming from the machine. My advice is don't buy it! i wish someone had warned me before I spend over $250 bucks! ... show more

    • Either a terrible product or we got a defective one.
We have used similar models for our church in the past. We ordered this machine as we waited to reopen church lunch time to the public so it's been ordered back in June 30 so we understand it's not eligible for returns. When we started using it recently, it doesn't really work. The machine keeps running and heating up on its own, the coffee does not get dispensed well, and the water is not getting to the coffee beans as well and will get dispensed separately later... ... show more

    • Great coffee maker!
We purchased this BUNN machine to replace an older model. These machines are great! We set up the coffeemaker the day we received it and immediately poured through several pots of water to see how it was working. After doing that, we walked away and came back a couple hours to discover that the unit was boiling over from the inside. After spending time searching the internet, we learned that there is a thermostat inside and the settings were at the hottest setting (sent that way from the factory). After tweaking it and getting the temperature correct, it worked perfect! We wish it came with a manual that gave us instructions about that. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another - it's doing a great job for us! ... show more

    • Coffe maker leaks when brewing
I am returning the coffee maker because water leaks out of the lower right side next to the right heating plate. I tried pouring the water in slowly, half at a time, and one fourth at a time, but it stills leaks out. about 4 to 5 oz. of water I use the coffee pot once a month for meetings. The coffee maker Does NOT Have a ON/OFF Switch. The coffee maker Does NOT have a ON Light. The coffee Maker Does Not Have a brew light to show when to make another pot of coffee. The Coffee Maker Does make coffee. but cleaning up the water mess after each pot is Not what I want to do. ... show more

Glass carafe does not come with coffee maker, you have to pay extra, not as good deal as advertised!

    • Make 5 runs using just water to eliminate metallic taste in the first few pots.
The water inlet area could be larger to avoid some splashing when filling. Need to add water slowly to avoid a bit of a mess. This machine is being used at a meeting location that averages 10 pots or more coffee per any given day. The previous machine was used for at least 10 years, so no quality comparison can be done at this time. ... show more
