Some here MISTAKENLY talk about the “second” hand not working. Some do not seem to know they bought a CHRONOGRAPH and not a plain wrist watch! This chronograph has three subdials within the main clock dial. At 3 o’clock, you have the chronograph’s fractions of a second counter, at 6 o’clock, is the watch’s second hand, keeping track of the seconds of the clock face. At 9 o’clock, you have the minutes counter dial of the chronograph. Press the top pusher to start the chronograph and the chronograph’s secondhand will start moving from it’s 12 o’clock position, the fractions of a second dial will start to spin, the 6 o’clock positioned dial still counts seconds for the watch face as normal, the 9 o’clock positioned dial spins to track the number of minutes that have passed since you pressed the top pusher. Press the top pusher again will stop the chronograph where you will then be able to look at the minutes counter and the fractions of a second counter and the second hand to calculate the number of minutes and seconds and fractions of a second that have passed. Press the bottom pusher to reset all of the dials and the second hand will go back to the 12 o’clock position and never move again until you press the top pusher again.
