    • A little finicky, but works great
Something fun for my 7yo to work on and get her outside. An adult or older kid definitely need to help with some of the assembly, and you need to make sure the part for the axel isn’t too tight or the wheel will not turn.

    • Very cool stem items!
Nice stem kits. Grandkids love em.

    • Delicate, use care assembling.
The boys had a lot of fun putting these together but the parts are delicate and one was ruined before it was built. They were able to play with them after they built them. It was a good science activity for a rainy day inside!

    • Lots of fun
My primary children, aged 5 - 10, loved putting these together and racing them. Teeny tiny screws, but went together well.

    • Please don't buy this
Hard pass on these folks. I ordered 30 of these for the space camp kids. The screws are the size of a dust particle (I'm barely exaggerating). I can't imagine an adult trying to put this together without losing screws, much less kids. I'm packaging them all up and sending them back for a full refund. So disappointing. ... show more

    • Disappointed and cheap for a reason
Frustrating and not suitable for young kids. I used this in a classroom of 12-15 year olds and even they could barely get them to work. I think one of four groups actually had theirs function. The tiny little screws got lost almost instantly and didn’t really line up correctly. Very disappointed.

    • Might need some help from an adult
Gave these as a gift to a seven year old boy who likes building things. Mom said it kept him busy for an afternoon. He needed some adult help, so I wouldn’t count on this being an independent project unless your kid is a little older, but overall I’d absolutely buy again.

    • Cool experiment
