Ok, first let me touch on a few of the one star reviews: • if it stinks by the end of the day, that means you’re backwashing • it clearly says in the description not to drop it • it’s common sense that if you drop anything, it’s likely to break • it’s also common sense that you shouldn’t carry it solely by the strap if it is full • to the person that said it’s more than a gallon, not true. I filled mine up with a gallon jug of water last night and it is exactly a gallon. I ordered 2 of these bottles. Both arrived dented. They are made of a SOFT plastic, like a water bottle so I thought I could easily push the dents out. Well, on one bottle I was successful but the other bottle, not only was it dented but there was a huge crack in the plastic. Do not purchase this item. You are wasting your money! ... show more

I was very excited when I ordered this product. I really thought it would help me reach my hydration goals, and it did. But, it cracked less than two weeks after I purchased it. I am extremely upset as the bottle is now unusable. I emailed the company asking for assistance and I have gotten no response after a week later. We have just ordered our 4th one! It is so convenient! My husband and I used to carry around so many bottles of water when we would go out and now we have 3: 1 for my husband, 1 for our kids, and 1 for me. The fourth one we ordered was for a friend who liked it. It is very durable. I am a full time nursing student, full time massage therapist, and always exercising and I am always on the go with my family. I repeat: it is sooo convenient not having to refill. I don’t recommend holding it by the lanyard when the gallon is completely filled up just because it is a small plastic that is holding the lanyard so, just to be safe it is best not to hold it by there when it is full to prevent it from breaking. So far so good! I've had this for a few weeks and its holding up pretty well. I can see how the strap could break if I tried walking around with this full holding it only by the strap. But I'm realistic so I hold this like any other gallon sized container full of liquid. I bought 2 of these in different colors. The blue one cracked within the 1st few days. Had no problems returning the broken one. It has now been about a month and no other problems. This item is great for those who do not drink enough water or for those who work out.
