We bought these for our nursery. I didn’t wash them or steam them to get the lines out, we just opened them and put them right on the rod. They were a little bigger than what we needed for the window. But that’s on me, plus I can use them else where in the house if they don’t work out in the long run. They seem to keep most of the light out during the day, altho the room is already on the shaded side of the house. Took a chance and purchased these for a guest room. While they are listed as "Blackout", they aren't quite thick enough to do so with full sun hitting them. If you have blinds behind the curtains though it will keep the room plenty dark in my opinion. They are very soft to the touch. The branch design appears to be painted on the fabric, I cannot say how well that will hold up if put in the wash. Two Velcro tiebacks were included. Great value for the price! ... show more

I bought a blackout curtain (grey vine pattern) from the same store last year, and I was very happy with my purchase. I recently moved to a loft studio with one wall full of windows. I can’t not sleep in on the weekends because it gets bright so early. I went with pink curtain this time but was hesitant at first because I was afraid the pink could be too feminine. The actual product turned out to be a pleasant surprise: the pink color has a hint of grey undertone to it making it very elegant. The silver leaf print is very high-quality just as expected from my previous purchase. The material is soft and not heavy at all (friendly on the pole if you have to install your own). In terms of the blackout efficiency, I would say it’s 85%, which works perfectly for me. I personally do not like my rooms to be completely dark, so this curtains does a good job of blocking most of light in the morning without creating an artificial darkness which, u know, sometimes throws off ppl’s sleep patterns. ... show more
