Description

The Buhbo Steel Planter helps you bring home a clean and sleek designer look. Perfect on the window sill, counter top, fireplace mantle, and as a table's centerpiece. The heavy duty steel is hand welded to ensure a water tight enclosure. The best way to plant succulents/small plants is to use a layer of gravel, rock or pebbles on the bottom of the planter. Using an optional layer of charcoal over the gravel will improve the drainage and absorb impurities and odors. The top layer should be loose soil or cactus mix that drains well. EASY TO CLEAN: Simply use a damp towel, or a little window cleaner will take care of it. The plants depicted in the picture are not included with the purchase.

This planter is very sturdy and well made. I ordered this instead of a plastic one because I’m using it at a cemetery in front of a family member’s headstone and I knew this would last a long time. I put a brick under each end to keep it off the ground and drilled some holes along the bottom to let the water out and I filled it with styrofoam, put clear silicone sealant around the top outer edges to prevent rain from getting in then filled it with all sorts of fake plastic flowers. It. Came out gorgeous! I placed bricks along the front and sides of it the same colors of the headstone which was Pinkish[ maroon to cover up the silver color. It came out Awesome! Sorry I didn’t take any pictures. I did not know that you could leave pictures I’m very happy with your product, it’s well made and exactly what I was looking for and it showed up early also. I definitely highly recommend this planter it’s very thick and sturdy. I have steel drill bits and I had a hard time drilling through the bottom! That’s how well made it is.     • They are narrower than I expected but it is an advantage.
Since the planter is narrow it is easy to fit on an exterior window ledge. It's compromised of good sturdy metal and painted semigloss black. Attractive contemporary design.

I will try to get some pictures for this review but the product is pretty nice, perfect size for my window ledge and I would have given it 5 stars but here is why not. Along the edges of the planter, their is these little dents, not sure how they got there but when i opened it I noticed it. It looked wrapped well, not sure but if you look closely their is a few indentations on the metal. For 40 bucks it should not be there but I am not making a big deal about it because once filled with dirt and my flowers are in it, you should not be able to see them. I really just did not want to deal with returning it and reaching out but the dents are there ... show more

I will be keeping this item - but am disappointed that it's NOT stainless steel as advertised- especially given the price. Magnets don't stick. The planter looks nice however the walls are thin. I will keep it as it will be used in doors. Would not be confident using it outside. A bit of a disappointment. ... show more

It picks up finger prints easily but that is the only negative there is. It's beautifully made and fits our space perfectly. I used it as a succulent planter and it came out exactly as I wanted.
