I really like using this car seat adapter for the convenience of it. It snaps onto the stroller very easily, and the car seats snap on in a flash! The one thing that I have to take a star away for is that it makes the bugaboo twin wider and with this attachment in the car seat, it is not able through a standard door. Usually I have to take one car seat off and carry it to get through the door with this adapter. It’s good for malls and places that have bigger doors but not great when you’re going for doctors appointments and things where they only have standard size doors. ... show more

    • Convenient but a couple things you should know

Thankful to have this product. Makes taking baby in and out of the car really simple. My LO is small enough to still be in the infant carseat but too heavy for me to carry him in it so this makes getting to and from the car a breeze, plus no need to take baby out of his bucket when going for a stroll. What you should know: It does rock a little, more of a sway, but I trust it because it's secure and the motion is soothing to the baby. There is also a little bit of a learning curve when first starting to use it. It has to be on a specific side of the Bugaboo Donkey stroller depending on whether you're using it in mono or duo mode. It also has to be installed in a specific direction that is different depending on if it's in mono or duo mode... I just kept the manual with the carseat until I figured it out :) ... show more

The Bugaboo Chicco Car Seat Adapter is made with excellent materials and workmanship. You'll definitely know it's a Bugaboo item. The adapter clicks perfectly without any issues to the Bugaboo Donkey, but placing the Chicco Car Seat in the adapter can be somewhat tricky for someone new. It's tempting to just place the car seat on top without hearing the click, but for your child's safety make sure the car seat is secure when it clicks! This adapter is a little bulky so if you want to fold your Donkey to be put in your car, you'll have to remove the adapter and store someplace else. I don't have a problem with that but you might so I wanted to let you know about it. The adapter is made well with great materials and workmanship that you'd think Bugaboo would charge more, but I appreciate that the price is reasonable especially if it's for the Donkey. Overall, it's a great product that you can get for your Chicco Car seat to be used on the Bugaboo Donkey. ... show more

    • VERY DIFFICULT- wish other options existed.

I wish I would have known how difficult it would be to use this alongside the bugaboo toddler seat in the Donkey. It does the job fine- meaning the infant seat securely attaches to it, and therefore the stroller base- but the fit is too tight when there also happens to be a toddler seat in as well. This therefore affects the ease in which the car seat is attached/removed from the adaptor/stroller. I’ve spend many a frustrating minutes desperately tugging on things in order to finally be able to simply fold my Donkey back up and place it in the trunk of my truck. Although this does the job, and seems to be the only option available for this particular stroller and car seat (Bugaboo Donkey base, with a Maxi-Cozi infant seat, both brand new!)- I can’t help but wish there were other products out there to choose from. If there were, I would not have purchased this item having known what I know now about the maneuverability during set ups/break downs. But there simply are no other options, so I have to put up with it. Can’t wait until our newborn is old enough to ride alongside his brother in a toddler seat, so I can get rid of this contraption! ... show more

Love that this works for nuna pipa car seat!! Called donkey company to verify for buying, and they said it has been tested and safe for use for the nuna. Very easy to take on and off as well.
