I bought this set for the following reasons: 1. I bought this DA tool and it came with only three pads. No matter how hard I tried to make the three pads be enough, I couldn't. The only feasible way to use the tool and only its three accompanying pads is to spread your detail job over several hours or days (use/contaminate pad; wash; dry; repeat - this cycle can get tedious quickly) https://www.amazon.com/review/review-your-purchases/?asin=B0BZ7TCPD7&channel=ec_accept_email-thankyou&ref_=ryp_hz_thnk_l_29 2. The pads that came with the DA tool have poor craftsmanship. The SPTA pads have a stronger material or something to keep the pads securely adhered to the DA tool. The pads that came with the tool had shown signs of failure after about four or five uses. I have since discarded all pads that came with my DA tool because they could no longer stick to the tool. 3. This is a set that offers great flexibility. The only thing that I can think of that would make this set even better is a microfiber buffing pad. I am quite pleased with this product. If/when I need to buy new pads, I would strongly consider purchasing this set again.

These a pretty decent pads and cut/polish well but if you wash/clean them over time the backing of the pad start coming off and you can’t stick it back on the polisher, still over a good purchase for a fair price

I used these pads on a Maxshine with a 3" backing pad and they work great as well as a corded Harbor Freight DA polisher. The various densities make it easy to compound then polish by switching pads. Im not sure if these will work for professional use (daily/heavy use) but for personal car use, they work perfect!
