    • Seems to be fine... appears to draw a lot of power even when off
I have this hooked up to about a foot of LEDs. They are powered by a 5000 mAh battery pack. Despite being off, this appears to be draining the battery pack entirely in less then 24 hours. Other then that, it seems to function pretty well using the same brand LEDs.

    • MAKE SURE YOU PROGRAM FIRST!
originally I thought there was something wrong with this unit. Upon speaking with the manufacturer I realized it was user error, and that same thing matches what some people have reported here. MAKE SURE YOU PROGRAM THE REMOTE FIRST. If you don't, you may have issues with the controller working properly. Once I programmed the remote, it worked perfectly! The range on the remote is great, and even works on the other side of my house, with the lights in the garage! Only thing I would suggest is to make it more obvious in the already confusing manual, to program the remote first! ... show more

    • Remote not paired to controller
The remote control doesn't talk to the controller for me. It DOES talk to OTHER LED stips I have in the room, but not the intended target. I bout it a while ago, but only opened it today. However, the return window already closed :(

This light control works great for my computer monitor lights. I have WS2811's behind my monitors and this control gives me that extra pop of color. The remote signal does interfere with my PC lighting, but that is expected given that it is an RF controller. All in all, this controller works well and I have not had any issues. ... show more

    • Very cool little device
As customer Dennis shared in his video, this is a lot of controller power for the money in my opinion. Would have had difficulty using if not for Dennis's very detailed instructional video.

    • Be careful of overloading the power supply
A previous review mentioned the controller becoming unresponsive after a short run. I had the same experience and sent one unit back. When the replacement failed the same way I did some troubleshooting. I used a 5V USB charger to power the unit connected to a 60 LED strip. It starts up all LEDs at full brightness and becomes unresponsive shortly after. With a smaller strip it works fine, and I was able to set the brightness and now it works fine with the 60 LED strip. I apologize for sending back the first unit. The instructions are very hard to understand...Thanks to other reviewers for explaining the operation. ... show more
