The media could not be loaded. Things are between 3- 5 stars. Read on... I bought the 6' plaid for Christmas 2023. For certain reasons, we aren't around to enjoy certain holiday traditions or decorations until the last minute. Decorating is just not an option. However, the whole family is there for Christmas eve and day and even a pretend tree is better than no tree. So when Mom and I found this we decided to try it. We unboxed it and put it up the same day we got it just to see if we'd like it or return it. We're keeping it. 5 stars- It arrived early, and in great condition. It will need to be stored in the box or arrived in. 5 stars- We wanted a tree that was pre-lit, easy to put up, take down, and store (since we really only need it for 1-1/2 days). This absolutely delivered. 4 stars- It's advertised as pre-decorated. It is, but quite sparsely. The plus is, it's easy to add your own decorations and the ribbons are wire edged making them easy to fluff. 4 stars- at least 1 bulb is burned out/ not working so we need to replace 1 or more right out of the box. However, it was easy to find and even easier to access. 4-1/2 stars- Easier to put up with help (our 6' one, anyway), but could probably be done solo. It's NOT heavy - quite the opposite, and didn't seem fragile at all. 5 stars- it came with instructions. You wouldn't think you'd need them but we did refer to them and they were helpful. 4-1/2 stars- It does NOT look like a traditional tree (we didn't expect it to, from the ad photos). The ribbons give it some 3-D and shape other than the cone that it is. I hope adding our own decorations will help too. 3 stars- it could be sturdier with a larger stand. It's quite light and you could spin it or knock it over fairly easily. People with children or curious pets will want to take precautions. Family vote so far, 4 think it's awesome, 1 doesn't like it. I'm one of the 4, lol, and happy with the purchase! EDIT, Nov 29, 2023: I had to return the tree, as the top half simply would not light up no matter what I tried. No one in the family could find a customer service number to call. The only option was an automated system that offered me to replace or return the tree. We chose to return it. I ordered a new one directly from Brylane. And it was cheaper. Hope the tree works as we still love it. And if not, I hope the customer service is better. Took 3 minutes from box to this photo. I chose the 6 foot option and set it up by myself. I opted to put the feet of the tree stand on a short step stool to give extra room for my cat to slip underneath it because he loves to get underneath the tree. So far, he has not toppled it even on the step stool. The lights all worked right out of the box. The ribbons are easy to fluff. Even though it is sparsely decorated, when lit it looks very nice. Tasteful. We didn’t add a thing. Of course, it doesn’t look like a standard fake tree or a real tree, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t look as tacky as I had feared. If you understand what it is and want to use this tree for the convenience factor, it is totally worth it. ... show more

This is one of those times when the picture on the website looks just like the item you ordered and received. It looks EXACTLY like the pictures! We are very pleased. We literally had it up in just a few minutes. This morning I “fluffed it up,” smoothing the ribbons mostly, adjusting some decorations, but that is all. I am beyond tickled that after the holidays I will not have this giant cleanup and pack up of an assortment of decorations to do. Also, the price makes it a done deal. I can highly recommend. P. S. After this review went "live," I realized that I had not mentioned one important fact that I should have mentioned. This tree is really beautiful. I love this tree, it's one of my favorite purchases. You can go from a flat box to a tree in less than 5 minutes. After 5 more minutes of fluffing, it looks incredible. The only thing that I don't like is that you really can see through the tree because of the nature of how it's a flat spiral that spreads out. In order to fix that, I bought some pretty holographic wrapping paper and stuffed it inside the tree. This way it's no longer see-through, and it has a really pretty reflective quality so you don't see the pole in the center. Even without stuffing it with something, it's still a really beautiful tree and people who visit can't believe that it's a flat pack. I got the plain white/gold/Ivory tree because then I can easily grab some other flowers or ornaments and change the color every year. It makes it really versatile. Last year I left it as it was, this year I'm going to put teal poinsettias in it. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have an on/off switch. You have to actually unplug it from the wall, which for me is annoying just because of how it's set up and I have to kind of reach around furniture to get to it. Even then, that's not enough to make me take a single star off. ... show more
