I have now tried four different versions of the Brydge for IPad Pro….the three that I had for the 10.5 all had problems, such as poor battery, or simply mismarked. Having run out of options for the 10.5 i decided to buy the 11…guess what…right, it is perfect fit…maybe just a tiny bit big when you close it, but otherwise a perfect fit…i love the keyboard feel and the nice heavy aluminum construction on this…i hate the lighter plastic versions, which tend to be a bit flimsy…. I did not that these can have problems. And, as Brydge went bust a few years back, there is no customer service. But, for this price, which is a total steal, I am going to buy two to have a spare if needed. In any case, it will support my 10.5, and an 11 when I upgrade. Like the other reviewers said- the keyboard cracked my son’s iPad Pro. And now he can’t use it for school. This product is trash. Don’t buy.

    • Battery only lasts a week despite what the ad says
Bought my keyboard a month ago. I loved it at FIRST! I soon learned that the battery was crap and the charge cord would not work. Amazon replaced the charge cord. Not only did i not get a year battery life, i only got a week. This affected the backlight which was the primary reason i bought this keyboard instead of the apple keyboard. Bridge quickly took it in for repair and sent it back. It worked for a while and then the battery issue caught up with it again only lasting one week. The next step bridge sent a new keyboard (open box) which really means refurbished and i have the same problems. Bridge told me to not use my backlight so much! What the heck did i buy for then?? So, now i am stuck with a keyboard that i have to charge every few days despite what they say in their ad, contacted bridge again and they are sending another keyboard. This will be my third. So here are my thoughts: the pros: 1. Very sturdy keyboard that duplicates a laptop. Love that aspect. 2. The back lite is great and has three levels. It comes on automatically when you begin typing. 3. Customer service is very good. They do try to make it right Cons: 1. The battery is no where near 12 months. Count on about a week. 2. The hinge where the iPad connects to the keyboard. is poorly made and will scratch your iPad. The rubber on the hinge moves around and usually comes loose and then you have bare metal touching your iPad. I dont know if there is a better one out there from another vendor. I remain stunned that apple has such a poor product. I would do a lot of research before i purchased this keyboard and look at other products. I think the main issue is the battery life of the product. If that isn’t critical for you than it is a great keyboard. ... show more

    • Keys malfunctioning already!
I bought this keyboard a few days ago at the recommendation of my friend and my mom who both own it. I was so excited to attach it to my iPad Pro because I'm hoping to downsize my number of tech items. I charged it and paired it to the iPad with no problem. The issue came whenever I hit the space bar. Even when I pressed it once and gently, it would continue spacing for a while, leaving gaps in my sentences. I wanted to double-check, so I checked my mom's (almost identical Bryge keyboard) and that one worked seamlessly. Maybe mine just has a bug. For the price of this keyboard, it makes no sense that it should be a hit or miss for functionality. Since I just got received this keyboard a few days ago, I'm hoping I can repair it or replace it. I had such high hopes. I can update my rating once it gets resolved. ... show more

    • Brydge 11.0 Pro - Buyers Beware - Very disappointing!!!
As other reviewers have said, I wanted to like the Brydge 11.0 Pro keyboard. I really did. First, I purchsed this for an iPad Air 4. When the Air 4 came out, the Brydge 11.0 Pro advertized as iPad Air 4 compatible. It is not. The case cover does not fit. Brydge is aware of this and have since removed this claim of support. So, that was the first strike. Secondly, the keyboard action is absolutely horrible. I don’t know if it is limited to the one I have, but as a touch typist after over 2 months, the number of errors from using this keyboard is off the charts. I have to keep re-typing keys that are “heavy” and do not respond the way I expect. I suppose if I slammed on each key slowly and surely, everything would be fine and my typing speed would be a snails pace. Essentially, the keyboard action is a fail. By comparison, I had been using a Belkin keyboard with my iPad Air 2 for years and never had any issues like this. So, if you touch type, I do not recommend this keyboard. Strike 2. Finally, their support is also a fail. They claim that to resolve my problem, I have to either video myself typing (not sure how I do this as I dont have a cell-phone tripod and I do not have 3 hands) or the other option is that I could send them the keyboard for them to “evaluate.” They are going to tell me if it is not working to my satisfaction and who knows how long it would take so I’d have no case for my iPad. Also I am not sure how that would work since it is me that is complaining about the keyboard. They are going to judge for me that the keyboard action is good or bad? I think not. Strike 3. I have requested a return of the keyboard, and so far Brydge tells me they cannot do an RMA. Makes no sense to be given it has been less than 90 days. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in my experience with the Brydge 11.0 Pro keyboard and further, I am disappointed in Brydge’s lack of interest in truly addressing my concerns with my experience with this keyboard and defaulting to what they claim is policy rather than focusing on customer satisfaction. I really wanted to like this keyboard and the company. Such a shame. Buyers beware. ... show more
