The sellers third photo showing the measurement of this bowl having a 16” diameter is incorrect. The seller does have the correct dimensions listed right above the About this item. I almost didn’t order this dish because of the measurement confusion because I didn’t need a 16” dish. But I am so glad I did order it. It is so similar to a Pyrex bowl we got for a wedding gift six months shy of 50 years ago! Look at my last photo showing the Pyrex dish on the right and this new Bruntmor Glass Baking Dish on the left. I weighed both dishes and the older Pyrex dish weighed almost 3 ounces more. This new dish is made of Borosilicate Glass and I love it-the dish and the borosilicate glass. I have 2 borosilicate pitchers I pour boiling water into when I make ice tea and they are so tough and dependable. And they are lightweight because of the borosilicate. Our old Pyrex dish has been a work horse for almost 50 years of family dinners. Back then most people didn’t have microwaves but I got one the next year after getting married. The sticker on the bottom of this new bowl said microwave, oven and dishwasher safe and it is lead free. Dishes this size are just so helpful to have because they can go from oven to table. They also are excellent to serve vegetables. They store leftovers easily because they are clear and easy to see what is inside and the lid will fit on the bowl turned either way. We have our refrigerator set up with one half of a shelf that is not spaced very far apart from the next shelf so only shallow dishes will fit in the one spot. If I turn the lid upside down then this new dish will fit on that shallow shelf and it still has a good seal. This is a very versatile dish. I still love my old almost 50 year old dish especially when I think about all the meals it has served my family and I am going to enjoy using this new dish as well. It is classic looking and clear will go with any dinnerware. So if you get this dish I wish you 50 years of happy meals and I hope you like it as much as I do. And it would make a nice gift just like my old one did and we still remember who gave it to us and think of him often.

Bruntmor Glass Baking Dish This is the perfect mid-size glass cookware for our family cooking needs. This glass is strong and durable, made out of borosilicate glass. We are able to bake a variety of meals such as casseroles and vegetables. If there are any leftovers, they can be placed in the refrigerator in the same cookware. I like that it has a matching lid to cook and cover food. The cookware is easy to handle and wash. Good value.

This glass dish with lid arrived promptly and was well-packed. It measures 5.2” in diameter and 2.3” in height. It is an ideal casserole for one person. The glass and lid are strong and clear. It is overpriced considering its size. This casserole is not 16” in diameter as indicated online.

So tiny! There's nothing to cook in this tiny dish for a family The ad stated.... Can be used to store leftovers. Yep, that would be the ONLY thing to use this for. Disappointed 😔 Not worth $22. $12 tops.

I really like this Bruntmor Borosilicate Glass baking dish! First of all, Borosilicate is known to be high heat stable so food quality and safety is guaranteed; secondly, the dish size is perfect for baking a size dish or dessert. I just made a bread pudding with it for breakfast and it worked super well. No excess exposure to hear so the bottom remains moist while the top crispy. Number three, so easy to store and clean. I put the whole dish in the fridge with the lid on ( don't forget the lid! Handy to have!) And I can directly reheat it in the oven. I didn't have to wash a metal baking sheet and a Tupperware. Both are difficult to clean well in the dish washer. I like the all in one functionality and durability of the glass dish.

This little casserole dish with glass lid is about 6" in diameter. It is thinner and lighter than my other glass cookware. I have been using it to steam baby red potatoes in the microwave. It holds about 7 to 8 of them in a single layer. In the 7th picture above it states it cannot be used in the oven or microwave or dishwasher, but it came with a sticker on the bottom (see pic) that says oven microwave and dishwasher safe. I have been switching over to all glassware for the microwave instead of plastic, and this is a handy addition.
