I have a 15 lb Hammer bowling ball that is at least 35 years old, which I quit using on a regular basis in league bowling 28 years ago for one reason or another. I started up league bowling in a seniors' league a few years ago and realized I had no where near the average I use to carry. To make things worse, I had a reverse shoulder replacement (of course my bowling arm) two years ago; and, could no longer throw the ball like I use to (speed and accuracy). I tried bowling with house balls using different weights, and discovered I now need a 13 lb ball. I saw the Rhino and read the reviews, and after seeing it on sale, decided to give it a try. Wish I could say a miracle happened and I now have my previous 167 average back (I never said I was a great bowler), and that everything is wonderful in the world of bowling - no such luck. I have managed to increase my average now from 122 to 124.. This ball has an awesome hook, that I am just now starting to control (this week I had a 422 series, which is great for me). I have been using this ball for about four weeks; and, I only bowl once a week in a senior's league. Bottom line: it appears to be a great bowl for the casual bowler; and, the price is great too. My other high end balls were too strong for me and causing my ball to over react and I would end up going high and splitting multiple times a night esp the last two games of league. Power without control means splits. This ball is controllable but still hits good. Anyone who has trouble keeping their ball on line with the pocket during league transition should consider looking at something like this imo. A very good game 2 and 3 ball for me. ... show more

The delivery was quick and easy. This was cheaper than any other website. I took it to a bowling alley and they drilled holes for me in a matter of days. I am a lefty and the ball does have some break, but not too much. I need to practice more.
